Heartwarming Experience at Top Cafe – A Must Visit in Parga

I’ve been writing Google Maps reviews for a long time, always with one goal: to help people by sharing honest and heartfelt experiences. I don’t make any money from it — I just believe that places, and more importantly people, who truly deserve recognition, should receive it.

This was my first time in Parga. On my first evening walk, I noticed Top Cafe — it was lively and full of energy, which caught my attention right away. I ended up having dinner elsewhere that night, but I couldn't stop thinking about this place.

The next day, I came back for lunch to try something light and ordered the chicken souvlaki. The plate arrived beautifully presented and the portion was more than generous. Sadly, I forgot to take a photo because I was so eager to try it!

After lunch, I had the chance to meet the owner — such a wonderful person. He was kind, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. He even offered me drinks as a kind gesture, and we had a warm, genuine conversation. Those little moments of connection are what make a place truly unforgettable.

Later, I made a reservation for dinner. I chose the lamb chops and a Greek salad — both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. There’s also live sports broadcasting at the restaurant, so if you're a football fan, you can enjoy a game while having your meal.

Now that I’ve left Parga, I still find myself thinking and talking about Top Cafe and the experience I had there.

To sum it up: If you're in Parga and looking for a place that’s tasty, generous, affordable, and run by truly kind-hearted people, this is the spot. You’ll find something that suits your taste, and you’ll definitely leave full, happy, and smiling.

Being the first place me and my girlfriend found after ariving to Parga, it did not disappoint. We arrived in town close to midnight and they still seated us. We were tired, sweaty and most of all, very, very hungry after traveling the whole day. Food was ordered and after only a few moments we got our food, sizes were nothing to scoff at and it was delicious. After living in parga for a whole week, we tried different restaurants every time we would eat lunch and dinner. And still we came back to top several times for lunch and dinner, since we were less than satisfied with all the "fine dining" restaurants in the rest of town. People might say top isn't top notch because it's at the taxi stop and theres loads of noise, but it isn't less noisy in the fancy spots by the harbor, in fact it might be even noisier there because of all the people walking about and chatting one group louder than the other. 5/5 stars, would visit it again next time...

Quite disappointed in the service and how they treat returning customer! Over ten nights, we had dinner here 5 times (always leaving a good tip). Tonight we came for the sixth time and wanted to sit with the street view, but were not allowed to be seated, because according to the waitress it was a table for four and we were a party of two. She showed us to some small table in the midst of the restaurant. We did not want to sit there so we attempted to sit at the one with the street view. The same waitress again instructed us not to sit there. Not to forget to mention that all the other (like 10 other) 4 person tables with street view were occupied by only 2 men parties. So, we told the waitress that we were leaving. Even though she told us that then we could sit at the table with street view, we still left. Never ever eating here again.
