Read moreFollowing our first visit last night, which was a really welcoming experience, we returned this evening and were greeted like family, or old friends. This place is frequented by the locals, which tells you it has a great reputation and a sustainable business earned by offering wonderful home cooked food, traditional Greek hospitality and an authentic experience. The prices are so low, for which you could not even buy a McDonald's back home.
We arrived this evening and were presented with a complimentary platter of cheeses, ham, cucumber and freshly made pitta breads.
The welcome was so heart warming, we already feel like family.
This place is a 5 minute walk out of the town and so very different from the crazy, crowded town bars and restaurants.

There is nowhere else anywhere near as good value in Paros and it is a real traditional Greek taverna, without the crowds. This is an absolute must visit. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The prices are so reasonable you would expect it to impact the quality, but nothing could be further from the truth. The food was home made, tasty, but a simple fare from a simple menu.
