It is a lovely looking restaurant with a buzz in the heart of town but was overall extremely disappointing. For the price, there are many things that should be much better in this place.
Firstly the host was unwelcoming, not just to us but to everyone who walked it. Just walking over and pointing people to the tables - no warmth at all. Didn’t even look at us when we walked out. Maybe this was because I shared feedback to the waiter that she was unfriendly when he asked what was wrong with our meal. Well… She proved us right!
The waiters were a mixed bag, some were so lovely and welcoming (made our experience) and the others not so much.
The food took a while to come which is absolutely fine, but when it did come it was cold. Both dishes were basically room temperature like they had been cooked 30 minutes ago and there is no way a €40 fish dish and a €30 beef pasta dish should be cold. I did mention it to the staff and they did take it back and bring a fresh dish with no questions asked and very apologetic. But the new dish was also very similar temperature but at this point we just accepted it for what it is and ate it. It was delicious just would have been better hot. On the plus side the cocktails were nice though!
The gaps between service were probably over 30 minutes each time with no checks ins and the plates sat in front of us for over 40 minutes. Perhaps the staff were overworked that night.
Looking around many people seemed to have similar issues and there was a few irritated faces so we knew it was not just us.
They staff did ask about our experience and did apologise massively that overall it’s was a below average .
Big shame but I wouldn’t recommend unless you are open to the chance of being disappointed. Going back to look at the other reviews now it looks like 50/50 chance of having a good meal.

Read moreWe had booked a table for 10:30 PM for 3 people three months in advance to ensure we got a spot. We found the restaurant through TikTok and saw that it had received good reviews. We arrived on time and were greeted at the door and told to wait at the bar, where there were no seats available and a group of people were already waiting. We ordered drinks before eventually being shown to a seat right by the bar. It was not comfortable there, and more people were continuously being let in and asked to wait at the bar, so people were practically standing on top of us at the table.
We politely asked to change tables, and the manager on duty finally agreed and moved us to a better area. He said, “Take your drinks and get up.” It was much better to sit where we got moved to, but even so, the manager and staff created a bad atmosphere, and we felt like we were a bother and that they were annoyed with us. We also ended up waiting a long time to order both food and drinks, which also took a while to arrive at the table. We noticed that the staff were stressed, running to and from the kitchen, and yelling at each other through their earpieces.
We ended up asking for the bill a total of 8 times and waited probably around 1 to 1.5 hours before we finally got the bill and paid. Meanwhile we noticed that a lot of the staff stood around and chatted. We also noticed that several tables around us managed to pay and leave, and other tables seemed equally frustrated and were waiting to pay.
Perhaps we were just unlucky, but this was absolutely our worst experience at a restaurant ever, which is a shame since we had been looking forward to visiting the place for a long time. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone visit this place, as the service did not live up to the prices and...

In fact, we have concluded this is one of the few restaurants that would thrive (despite the horrid reception girl) even back home in Los Angeles where options are plenty and customer service exists (LOL, it is what it is). Highlights -beef carpaccio -the green salad -flap steak with chimichurri sauce -crispy potatoes -pavlova dessert I thought the food was delicious and reminded me of restaurants in LA, which is different than most of the food options in Greece so far. HOWEVER, BE WARNED. YOU WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE GIRL IN THE FRONT LOL! The reviews below are not exaggerating by any means of the imagination. She is a horrible nightmare to come across. You would think her daddy owns the entire island and crowned her the princess. DO NOT LET HER BOTHER YOU. Ignore her the way she ignores everyone who enters and you will be happy with the food and the rest of the staff here. Again, we are used to the harshness of front staff and were completely thrown off by her piss poor attitude. She could not be more annoyed to work here and almost enjoys being rude.
