The best restaurant in Naousa. Hard stop. Marmitta was easily the best meal that my girlfriend and I shared over the course of a two week trip, and here's why:

The food: insane. So fresh and used local Paros ingredients perfectly. My girlfriend hates tomatoes and she found herself fighting me to eat more of their local salad that was almost exclusively cherry tomatoes. They were about to work this type of magic with all of their dishes, we didn't find one thing we didn't absolutely love.

The service: Top notch. A true family-run establishment where the husband is the chef, his wife runs the front of the house, and someone who I can only assume is one of their fathers helps with it all and definitely wasn't afraid to make a few jokes at how many different plates we ordered (loved it). We only ordered based off their recommendations and it was perfect.

The restaurant: beautiful, relaxing, not stuffy and overcrowded at all like you find by the water

Marmitta finds itself off of the beaten path because they aren't situated on the water, but it was just a 4 minute walk using the same alley-ways found in the main area of Naoussa. If they had a directly central location next to Barbossa, etc, I have no doubt this would be the biggest spot in town

Come here when you want amazing food, top notch service, and a relaxing evening before the Tik Tok influencers find it and start directing the masses to them (even though crowds and a line out the door is exactly what Marmitta deserves).

Amazing experience. Can't...

A Hidden Gem in Naoussa You Absolutely Can’t Miss

Marmitta is, without question, one of the very best restaurants in Naoussa.

The food? Outstanding. Fresh, vibrant, and deeply rooted in Paros’ local flavors. Every dish showcased ingredients at their absolute best. I don’t even like tomatoes, yet I found myself finishing a salad made almost entirely of the sweetest cherry tomatoes I’ve ever tasted. The lamb shank, veal cheeks, and moussaka were all equally exceptional—rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor.

The service? Flawless. This is a true family-run spot where the husband commands the kitchen and Dimitra, his warm and welcoming wife, runs the dining room with effortless grace. We let them guide our entire meal through their recommendations, and they absolutely nailed it.

The atmosphere? Bright, airy, and refreshingly calm—completely free of the cramped, tourist-heavy feel you sometimes get near the waterfront.

Marmitta sits just off the main harbor, a short walk through Naoussa’s charming alleyways. Don’t let the slightly hidden location fool you—if this restaurant were right on the water next to Barbarossa, it would easily be one of the busiest spots in town.

Go now, before it becomes the next viral “must-visit” on TikTok and the lines start wrapping around the block—because frankly, that’s exactly the kind of attention Marmitta deserves.

A truly unforgettable...

From the moment we walked into Marmitta, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, reflective of the vibrant local charm of Paros. But what really stood out was the hospitality and service, especially from Dimitra. She went above and beyond to provide us with invaluable tips and suggestions for our Greece trip, enriching our overall experience in the beautiful country. Her honest food suggestions were spot-on, guiding us to make choices that allowed us to savor the best of local cuisine.

The food at Marmitta was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was a symphony of flavors, beautifully presented, and highlighted the freshness and quality of the local ingredients. The restaurant's generosity was the cherry on top, with a delightful complimentary dessert rounding off our meal perfectly.

It is the combination of delectable cuisine, warm hospitality, and the extra mile gone to ensure guest satisfaction that makes Marmitta a gem in Paros. We left with our palates pleased and our hearts full of gratitude. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Greek...

BEST RESTAURANT IN PAROS! A MUST TRY. (came here on our 5th night & wish we tried it earlier) Chill homey vibe with a modern twist very well decorated & picture esq. Even though it’s a little bit away from the busy port it’s the perfect place to have an authentic tastey greek dinner. A perfect mix of seafood, meats & traditional greek dishes bursting with flavor. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a welcoming, memorable gesture. Dimitra was kind & had great suggestions on what to order. She also explained the menu in detail and let us know what dishes were tradition & local to the island/ Greece. She also gave a perfect wine pairing suggestion with our meal. Ilias was friendly & a good help throughout the meal. The whole staff just was naturally friendly & welcoming which made the overall experience enjoyable from start to finish. If you are looking for somewhere to have a peaceful, flavorful dinner surrounded by good vibes you won’t ever forget. you should come here. We loved the calamari, & seafood orzo. & The tomahawk steak was the best steak we have ever tried. Cooked to perfection.
