Tomortari Family Restaurant proudly advertises itself as offering local cuisine from their exclusive family garden. And while that sounds charming, I have a sneaking suspicion that their "family garden" might actually be a freezer aisle!

The fish likely tasted amazing at some point in its life – probably before it was frozen, defrosted, refrozen, and slapped with a sauce that worked as hard as it could to mask the freezer burn. It’s like the fish was on a never-ending rollercoaster of freeze-thaw-freeze-thaw until it finally landed on our plates.

The French fries, are apparently grown in the garden, but I’m pretty sure I spotted them sprouting from the freezer section alongside the fish.

The service started with smiles, which was great. But then, the smiles quickly faded into an experience about as exciting as a wet lemon. They did smile again, though – when they handed us the bill. Apparently, they save their best service for the moment you’re about to pay.

The wine was red, so I’ll give them that. But if you’re looking to impress your friends with your newfound favorite vintage, I’d suggest keeping this one off your list. Let’s just say it’s more “boxed wine” than “vineyard masterpiece.”

On the plus side, the food was edible, which is, of course, a basic requirement but worth mentioning in this case. It lacked taste, sure, but it was definitely not poisonous, so there’s that.

Overall, I’m giving Tomortari Family Restaurant one star – because, despite everything, we ate off plates, and not off the floor. Small...

Imam ordered, right after cancelled due to missing of feta, another dish with vegetables and tomato sauce (without feta) offered to substitute the one (= lack of salt, very very sweet, very liquid tomato sauce, zucchini and aubergine not eatable, the potatoes were basically simply boiled, overall of the plate 0/5), it looked like a dish made so fast without caring of the outcome itself (price of the plate 10-11€). During the whole dinner there was a lack of staff, none would care to even once to ask "everything's okay?" as usual routine, and the staff would literally see the dish ordered, described above, not touched, in the middle of the table, none would care coming to even take the rest of the empty plates (the other dishes were in normal average of quality, nothing extraordinary, 3/5). At the end, asked for the bill, like nothing happened not even asked a feedback "how was it?" as normal routine, not even said anything about the plate, described above, shinining right in the middle of the table, I had to say something because it looked like we have been deceived the whole time. The answers received ofc not satisfactory, and usual routine, the plate should be taken to the kitchen in case of complain, ofc not happened, that plate shouldn't even go out of the kitchen. In total offered 2,80€ to round the price. Overall experience feedback = till 30-35y.o. avoid, if you look younger avoid at all, they care about...

I was so excited to eat here and was disappointed. At first the staff was super friendly and welcoming and there are a lot of choices on the menu.

The issues began when they took my order and brought me the wrong dish. After a bite I realized it was wrong and politely let them know. The staff got super defensive claiming it was my fault I didn’t say the right thing, even though as I was ordering I asked questions to clarify the correct order. They then asked me what I wanted to do so I just asked for a different dish. The staff were visibly talking about me within a few feet of our table, and from then on they were rude, snippy, and cold towards us. They brought the replacement food and didn’t check in on our table again until it was time for the check. Not to mention the atmosphere is kind of ruined by the amount of stray/rabid cats begging at our feet.

When the check came, the waiter asked how we would like to pay, which we replied separate checks. they then simply split the check four ways, even though everyone got differently priced items. They also kept the price of the original incorrect item I ordered and not the cheaper replacement saying it was ok because it was “free”.

Overall mediocre food and poor service that left us unsatisfied and with a bad taste...
