3 Cheeky Monkeys — Restaurant in Sami Municipality

I’m really disappointed to leave this review, when staying in Assos I wanted to try everywhere to eat and on my last full day I walked up the hill to 3 cheeky monkeys for lunch after going up there on my first evening and finding them closed. They appeared to be closed again but there was one man in there so I politely asked if they were open and he said ‘no’ without even looking at me, so I asked when they would be open and he didn’t even reply, I stood there waiting to see if he hadn’t heard me but it was clear he wasn’t in the mood for customer service. Went down the road to the ever reliable bakery for some bits for lunch. 3 Wise Monkeys, the sister restaurant was great, the staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. One the best pita we ever eat. And yes, we had to wait around 30 minutes because it was crowded. People need to understand that, even if its pita, if you want to eat a delicious meal, good prepared, you have to wait if its crowded, it takes time to make it, especially the meat on the grill takes time! Im saying this because the people from the line were noisy about it. We waited 30 minutes, eat in our car, and we couldnt leave without take away two pitas to eat at dinner! Having previously ordered a delivery of delicious wraps and loukoumades (all flavours are amazing!!) we finally made our way by foot one evening to the 3 Cheeky Monkeys food truck and it was well worth it! Not only did we get tasty food (with generous portions) and great service, but we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere up there! The food truck sits next to a gorgeous old house where there are tables, chairs and hammocks to sit and enjoy your food whilst taking in the relaxed ambience.
