Mythos Taverna&Frutti Di Mare — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

I can say that it was my worst ever experience at a restaurant. We ordered some starters(fried zucchini and greek salad) and the waiter suggested the most expensive wine which we got. First of all , the fried zucchini were 2cm thick slices with a lot of oil. The greek salad had maybe 30grams of cheese, even though we ordered it with extra cheese. And the wine was very bad for a 30€ bottle that is the best on the menu.

After that, we decided to leave the restaurant and go to a different place for the main dish. We expressed our unhappiness with the food to the waiter in a very calm way and he called the manager/boss.

Upon meeting the manager, and explaining again why we didn’t like the food, he started started yelling, cursing, and threatening. The manager is probably the worst person I have encountered in Thasos. He started attacking our race and nationality, showing a lot of racism without hesitation, yelling it so everyone could hear him.

This is exactly the type of place/person I want to avoid while on my vacation.

I suggest you stay away from this place.

Also the boss of the restaurant has a juice stand at Giola, and they lie to you that you have to buy something from the stand in order to get free parking. Parking is free. You don’t have to buy anything, there is a better cafe down...

Although the waiters are quite friendly, they don't seem well organised when the restaurant is crowded. Apart from waiting approximately 45 minutes to get the menus, we had to wait for another 45 minutes only to get a wrong type of pizza. We returned the pizza and had to wait for the right order for some time once again.

Having completed our meal, which was pretty good, we paid for it and waited for the change. After half an hour of waiting, one of the waiters approached and asked whether we would like to order something else - - we replied that we were waiting for our change. This started all the confusion, and we were forced to explain that we had already paid for our meal.

After a couple of back and forths with several waiters who all negated having seen us pay, we finally got our change and left the restaurant pretty disappointed with...

We were waiting more than 20 minutes just to give the order. There is only one person who is taking it. We order one small size pizza and pasta carbonara. After 20 min, pizza was here, and after 45min pasta but Bologneze, and it was half cold. When I said to waither that it was already late since we wanted to eat together, he said that I can complain to the owner since he doesn't care. Owner came and started to argue with me and said that I do not have right to complain! Instead of apologising, I received very rude behaviour and arguing. If you want to enjoy your meal to have it in decent time, then you should avoid this place. All employees, including the owner, are very disorganised unefficient and uneffective.
