In my opinion the current rating is way over what the location really deserves. The staff and amenities are ok as almost anywhere in Greece. However, I expected a lot more with regards to the food they are serving. I specifically asked if the tomato soup is made from tomatoes and they said that it does. I received instead an instant soup like, most probably made from powder... I asked if the salmon is fresh and the answer was that for 1 extra euro it can be fresh for us, even if in the menu it was not stated that is was previously frozen; it was well prepared after all but the first impression during the order was not nice. We've ordered few other extras, but over-priced in my opinion. For instance, the grilled vegetables consisting of 12-13 slices of courgette, eggplant and tomato was 6 euros... in other places I've seen better. We had reservation for 20:30. We arrived on time. No one was taking care of us, yet we found someone to tell we are there and ready. They said wait. It was 20:50 when there was a 6 person table available. Yet he showed us a 4 person table and told us to sit that ( idk know how) cause 5 more people came to say they have reservations for 20:45. He tried to sit them at the6 person table before us, and told us to wait, cause another 4 person would be empty cause they asked for the bill. Looking into the sitting customers eyes, he said they will be leaving. 4 of you sit, then when they go, others will sit. I tried to explain to him what’s going on; yet he showed no sign of understanding! Unbelievable! Such a bad handling of reservations and service ! Will never come again. The food and the atmosphere here are absolutely exceptional. The owner exudes a calm, positive energy that truly adds to the overall experience. We enjoyed almost every dish we tried — from the rich tomato soup to the perfectly cooked calamari, shrimp, and octopus. We loved it so much that we came back a second time, and once again, everything was delicious.

The gyros and the moussaka were outstanding, full of authentic flavors. As a lovely touch, we were offered a complimentary dessert from the house, which perfectly completed the meal. The tsipouro and wine were excellent — everything was so clean, fresh, and carefully presented. The music in the background created a relaxing, joyful atmosphere that made the experience even more special.

A true gem in Thassos, where every visit feels like a celebration of Greek hospitality...
