The old guy is super rude. He touches your bags and moves your bags when you are in the sea, gives your sunbed to someone else. When you ask why, he starts yelling at you. We went there twice as the previous day we had a good experience with the remaining staff. That is why the other people are giving good reviews as they haven't had an encounter with the old guy yet. We left immediately after being treated this way. No wonder why you can always find empty sunbeds in this place while the other beach bars next to it are almost always full. I wish I had read all the reviews before coming to this place. Please see how they respond to all negative comments. They call their customers stupid, always address their customer's nationality, they ask them to go to the psychiatry clinic, they call them psychos. Very rude and amateur business practice. Luckily we found a much better place next to it, the Island beach bar, and spent the rest of the day peacefully. We will never go back to this place again. Never ever recommend to anyone else. Please read all the reviews...
Read moreWe've been coming to Limenas for more than 6 years, staying in different places, eating at different tavernas, visiting and enjoying all its beautiful beaches. We love Greece and greek people.
But today we had the worst experience ever. The owner of this taverna is incredibly rude, after he sold us a sobbing story about how he pays a lot for the beach spot and how romanians tourists keep his business alive, we ate and drink for three days in a row. Today because there were no baby chairs available and it was hard for me to keep my baby in my arms and give him soup, he managed to pour soup all over us and I had to use THE 5 NAPKINS avaible to clean us up.
He (the owner) came to our table really mad for using the napkins and told us: why did you use so many napkins, they are expensive, you will pay 5 euros for them. Which we did.
Never in our life did we have such a crappy experince, we always tip, say thank you and appreciate the hard...
Read moreVery good family owned traditional Greek tavern with more than 20 years experience. Located on the beach next to the old port
Not much to look at at first glance it more then covers it with good service and good food at decent prices.
They always have fresh fish and will recommend what's good not what is expensive. They make their own tzatziki unlike many taverns that buy it from the supermarket You can actually see the kitchen across the street, to take a look at what's cooking. If they bring you something you didn't order (like bread and water) , they won't charge you for it like most taverns do this day.
Aside from the fresh fish and seefood, it serves a very good pizza and for desert the Ktaif is especially delicious.
And did I mention the...
