Hakuna Matata beach bar — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

This is our second year visiting Zakynthos, in part due to beaches and beach bars like this. We weren’t sure if this one would still be the same and it was such a relief to find it unspoiled and just as friendly as we remembered. The staff are great (they remembered us from last year, but this year decided to try and learn our names - which was lots of fun), and they couldn’t be more helpful trying to find us a beach beds together and a larger table to accommodate two families. One day we forgot a beach towel and the manager loaned us one so we didn’t have to drive back to our hotel in a fluster. We appreciate good food, and this place doesn’t disappoint - it’s not Michelin star, but it’s well prepared, tasty and fresh (I noticed lots of others agreed and many families and couples were eating). Probably the standup feature is the quiet, sandy beach that is well looked after, with crystal clear water. I hope it stays the same as I’d love to go back...

Been coming to hakuna mata since it first opened in 2020 and if you haven’t been here already while visiting Alykes then you need to try it! The food is incredible and they have a wide range of drinks available from soft drinks to alcoholic drinks.
