Paradise Pizza — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

We went for food here last night after walking past several times thinking it looked nice we must go in there next time. The food took 1 hour 20mins to arrive, both mine and my sons were fine however my partners fillet steak was very fatty and he had to leave half of it. The waiters spent too much time joking around with the family on the table next to us rather than dealing with other customers. Fantastic service and obviously food from this lovely establishment. We happened upon this restaurant towards the end of our holiday, but we loved it so much that we spent the last 3 nights of it eating here. The pizzas are a speciality, but the kleftiko, moussaka, mixed grill, lamb chops, and a couple of pasta dishes were all sampled with very little grumbles, if any. The service was provided by one man and one woman who were both really helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed our time here and can't recommend it...

Abbiamo ordinato due pizze (carenza di carboidrati italian style, ahimè...). Ordiniamo tra tre formati di pizza (small, medium, large) quello large. Incredibilmente, per gli standard di servizio di un posto turistico ad agosto, in pochi minuti ci viene portata la pizza e... immediatamente tolta dal tavolo... Era per un asporto. Aspettiamo così i primi 45 minuti. Mi lamento, al che mi viene detto che "c'è un solo forno" (quello da cui una pizzeria da asporto italiana soddisfarebbe nello stesso tempo cento clienti) "e che tutti hanno ordinato la pizza". Intorno a noi mangiano tutti già, ma nessuno la pizza. Dopo il secondo richiamo del cameriere arriva una pizza delle due ordinate: un panino ricoperto di pomodoro e formaggio, ma ce lo aspettavamo e va bene così. Panino sia. Attendiamo la seconda che...non arriva più. Servono una pizza da asporto, ma la mia no. Terzo richiamo al cameriere, arriva il secondo panino. Credo che eticamente, da italiano, questa non sia una pizzeria ma un abbozzo mal riuscito. Sta ad una pizzeria come un kebabbaro ad una trattoria toscana stellata, ma almeno il kebabbaro è veloce (dicono...io sono vegetariano e non lo so).
