Sea Sight Studios — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

Where do I start. We had stayed behind this place before so we knew the location was amazing . The host had been extremely helpful in the booking process . Could not wait . Got to the apartment which was top floor further from the sea not an issue as still maybe 15 meters. Opened the door was quite small but we are just sleeping here shouldn't be an issue. The bathroom tiles were bad with the grout missing it looked filthy shower hanging down very dark and out dated. Then in to the studio. A burn mark on the work top. No kitchen Equipment like the picture showed the table,/ dresser had a burn ring with lots of other burn marks it just looked filthy. We went for a swim to ponder. And though no way can we stay there. I contacted the host about the cleanliness and the burns and I said this room is not really except able as its nothing like your advertisement pictures. I understand they don't sometime but this was like buying a racehorse getting a donkey. The hosts words were you owe me money for the apartment this is not fair in August for you to do this to me.. She said the room was clean tidy and it was a matter of opinion . Needless to say I never paid the remaining balance not did I get a refund. Her words were this is why a take full payment not deposits like it did for you, Well I'm glad I never paid you...

It was 10 nights vacation on September and we were happy to stay there. They have every day cleaning of the room and bathroom, every second day towel changing and every fifth day linen changing. Furniture is basic, good beds with comfortable mattresses and pillows. Wi-Fi was fair at our room, we can have it next to and at balcony. Clean and nice bathroom. Free of charge sunbeds are available as well.

Beautiful sunrises wake you up every day. Situated just next to the beach, near a perfect beach bar at one side and famous grill bar at the other. Very quiet place on walking distance from main stir.

Maria is very nice host and charming person, answering mails and calls immediate. She provided a great help us printing some papers we needed.

Didn’t get to stay, the owners moved the holiday due to covid 3 times which was good. But as we had not been double vaccinated by the time the holiday was due this year, the owners said they couldn’t move the date again, bearing in mind I told them 4 months before we were due to go that we couldn’t make it, there was no reason why they couldn’t have re sold the rooms and moved our date. Very disappointed as we lost well over £1200 as non refundable holiday. Certainly will not consider this...
