Anemos beach bar — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

We visited many beaches this summer in Zakynthos, but Anemos Beach Bar became our favorite in the north— we ended up going three days in a row! The sand is soft, the water is crystal clear, the cocktails are delicious, and the staff are incredibly welcoming.

The only area that could be improved is the Greek menu. The mixed meze platter didn’t really reflect Greek flavors (tzatziki should never have mayo and carrot!). The chef is talented, but the Greek dishes could be more authentic.

That being said, everything else was fantastic — especially the salads and burgers, which are perfect for a beach day. If I come back to Zakynthos, I’ll definitely return here and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxed spot with amazing beach vibes rather than...

We spent almost every day at Anemos beach bar in October. The location is perfect, far enough away from the road and right on the sea. The beach beds are free and comfortable. The sea is shallow for a long way out, and when the sea is calm, you can just float and enjoy the warmth. The best part is absolutely the staff. They are attentitive and come around taking food and drink orders (highly recommend the food), they are kind and informative of the area and truely made our holiday. We will be back and will likely spend another week relaxing...

Don't miss out on this wonderful venue. Drinks, food and a full English breakfast that surpasses any other local cafe/restaurant. Megan and her family are grafters. We were treated extremely well and nothing was too much trouble. Both my wife and I had great food at reasonable prices. Just wished we'd found it earlier. Never mind. Next time we're heading there...
