Trainaki — Attraction in Zakynthos Municipality

Love our day out on the train. Gets you out resort , you see the country side absolutely recommended. The Museum was very interesting. The Restaurant they take you to was so so good the wine was beautiful and you can drink as much as you like. What I can remember of it lol . The food was absolutely amazing went for a snack ended up having a two course meal . Met loads of lovely people on train all up for a good laugh and sing song on way home ( I think it’s was the wine talking lol . Top tip don’t leave until last few days of your holiday. Great tour and excellent value for money. Had a smile or two at the museum exhibits, had a bigger smile after sampling the jug of wine given us at the taverna later. Spiros is very good fun and is determined everyone goes away smiling after sampling his wine. We bought a couple of bottles and enjoyed them back at our hotel over the following few days. An enjoyable tour, nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area for €20 each wasn’t to bad value, you have some home picked and dried raisins and a small jug of red or white wine, personally preferred the white, slightly sweeter.
