No Name snack bar — Attraction in Zakynthos Municipality

We came across this bar whilst touring the island and ended up coming here every day during our holiday as we liked it that much even though our hotel was 40 minutes away. The beach is sandy and the water is amazing. The bar itself is very relaxing and right on the beachfront. The owner, Dennis, is a lovely guy and very friendly. We had many conversations about all sorts of things. We tried a variety of food including the Greek salad, pizza, milkshakes and the lovely desserts. When we arrived and asked for sun beds to rent we knew that it would cost 12€. After a while the waiter impolitely said we have to buy drinks since the sun beds were only for customers. I’ve reminded him that we are aware that we’d have to pay after our stay and he just left with a grunt. We paid and left early since we felt unwelcome after this interaction. Se potessi metterei 0 stelle. Arriviamo alle 12, leggiamo sulla lavagnetta che due lettini e ombrellone costano 10 euro e sono solo per i clienti. Allora ci sediamo su due lettini con l’intento di bere poi qualcosa e alle 13 mangiamo dei panini che ci eravamo portati. Al che arriva il cameriere che con tono brusco ci dice di andare via perchè è solo per i clienti. Gli rispondo che noi paghiamo i 10 € e prenderemo poi un caffè dopo aver mangiato, lui sbatte la testa e ci dice di andare subito via. Chiedo spiegazioni perchè davvero non capisco e mi dice che dobbiamo per forza mangiare e bere li oltre che pagare i 10€ ma alla mia richiesta “possiamo prendere qualcosa da stuzzicare e da bere?” mi dice assolutamente no. A questo punto fanno prima a stabilire un prezzo minimo!!! Chiedo un caffè con l’intenzione di prendere poi altro, dopo 2 minuti arriva con il caffè sul vassoio e mi dice “no non te lo posso servire perchè avete il vostro cibo(il mio ragazzo stava mangiando un’ insalata) e mi rovinate il business”.Non contento, mentre ci prepariamo per andarcene ci chiede di pagare metà giornata perchè avevamo usato i lettini 1 ora.
