Started off well, lovely greeting, chairs pulled out for ladies. There were 6 of us to celebrate my 60th birthday, we ordered 5 starters 2 garlic bread with cheese and one without cheese. 2 with cheese arrived the 3rd with cheese but no garlic!! 20 mins later still waiting for the other 2 starters. We spoke to 3 members of staff, finally a manager was informed, then 3 more lots of garlic bread arrived which of course we didn't need or want and eventually the other 2 starters. We told them we didn't want the garlic bread and they said keep it. Mains arrived, chicken souvlaki extremely salty mixed grill for 2 which for some reason they set light to at the table. This cremated the sausage, the burger was raw!! Again complained to staff , their initial response was "oh" they then asked if we wanted free dessert, we refused, more drinks we refused, they then asked us what we wanted them to do, we told them it was for them to resolve The bill was 170 euros and they took off 50 euros, now if you are a guest at the Diana Palace (which is fantastic) you are meant to get 20 per cent discount anyway. We mentioned this and they claim it is already taken off on the menu price, this didn't make sense as non guests were also paying the same price. They tried to tell us we had free garlic bread which they thought would make up for it!! In the end it was futile trying to explain to them how upset we were at a substandard meal and slow service All in all I would definitely tell people to avoid Nonnas , as we left all the staff were were lined up glaring at us. Go to the Dionysos steak House instead,...
Read moreI had booked our table before arriving on holiday as we wanted a special family meal and the Greek night looked like good fun. When we arrived we sat for 25 minutes before being offered menus, more time passed before anyone came to take our drink and food orders, however as it was busy and we were enjoying the Greek dancers, we were less inclined to complain, around 40 mins we got our drinks and for some odd reason my main of a salad and one starter arrived at the table arrived a little after this, We thought they must just be bringing everything together, which was fine as we were starving by this stage, however over half an hour later no more food had arrived, we spoke with the manager and she said she would expedite the order and in 4 minutes we would have the rest of our food, plus a round of free drinks. Surprise 15 mins passed and still no food, at this stage I left. We were all so disappointed as we had been looking forward to that evening, however my daughter said she had seen 3 other tables leave at various points throughout the evening as they were lacking in drinks, food and service. Greek dancers, plate smashing etc deserve a mention as they kept mood up...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I went to the restaurant for the Greek Night but were really disappointed by everything. The restaurant had a lot of tables available but only for drinks. We got a table inside. It took about 25 minutes before we could order drinks and the appetizer. After a while a few tables outside were free and we told the waitress that we really wanted to sit outside when we first arrived. The tables however were getting filled with people without a reservation also. So we felt a bit cheated. The appetizer was a Cesar salad which wasn't very tasteful. We left after finishing the appetizer. We wouldn't recommend...
