Los Ranchos — Restaurant in Guatemala City

I finally made it to Los Ranchos and I was pleasantly surprised. I did walk past it multiple times, but finally realized it was located inside of the mall. Once I walked in and was greeted, it was an amazingly beautiful place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Sometimes I think they were worried about bothering me before I was ready, but that caused me to have to wait much longer than I really wanted to order as well as to pay. But that was the only issue I had and the only reason I removed 1 star for service. Everything I ordered was delicious. Los Ranchos is a nicaraguan food restaurant located in zone 10 of Guatemala city, now the restaurant is located inside Avia building, which has own parking lot and if you consume in the restaurant you get discount on parking lot fee. Food is extremely delicious and fresh and service is good. I would recommend to order Pruebalo Todo, which is a dish made with the main nicaraguan food. Meat is high quality brought from Nicaragua, which us famous for producing high quality meat. Visited April 2024. 'Probably the best burger I have ever had'

We visited the restaurant to finish a long central American tour and what a treat it was. The starter that consisted of plantain chips and dips was delightful, then my burger was simply divine consisting of a beef patty and a delicious piece of steak on top - not seen that before, hopefully I'll see it again in the not too distant future. The steak, rice & peas and plantain was so nice that we took a bit back to the hotel.
