After 12 they approached me about ordering and asked for a monte Cristo sandwich, an horchata iced and a soup. They brought me a regular horchata and at 12:35 or 12:40 they brought me the sandwich. I wanted to eat here because they are usually very quick and I had to leave for the airport for a flight at 2:50. So I was very rushed and asked them to bring me the check when the food arrived. Had to ask another waiter because my waitress was busy chatting with two other individuals by the entrance to the restaurant. Read moreI'm sad to leave a one-star review, as I have always been a fan of San Martin. Our visit started with water leaking from the ceiling onto our table. I was willing to overlook this because of the rain, but unfortunately, the problems continued with our meal.
My soup was served cold, and my friend's chicken pasta arrived with virtually no chicken in it. When we brought this to our server's attention, the explanation we received was that the dish only comes with a small amount of chicken, which was very disappointing to hear.
It seems the quality and flavors have changed significantly for the worse. The one positive was that the coffee was still very good, but that isn't enough to make up for the rest of the experience. I hope...
Read moreOne of the best bakeries/cafes in zone 10 in Guatemala City. We were looking for Champurradas cookies near our hotel( Westin), the hotel concierge recommended this one which within 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
The bakery is very modern and clean. They also have a cafe in the back to serve lunch and dinner. We found many varieties baked goods and pastries. Since we like the plain cookies, we got a dozen of simple original flavor champurradas. We also got ourselves some French butterfly cookies.
We also found that their chocolate cookies were fantastic. There were many other cakes and sweet stuff but we didn’t a chance sample them.
