We walked in and kinda surprised this place made it to the list of 50 best restaurants. The atmosphere is more of a bar versus restaurant. But nonetheless we were excited to try the food but in the end a tad disappointed. I think here the staff really takes down the potential of the place. We were handed menus and then found out one was an old menu and they were not serving those dishes. Second, zero explanation or anything from the staff regarding food.
We ordered a fish dish for 2 which came with mashed potatoes, salad and a lengua tostada. Honestly, the mashed potatoes tasted straight out of a box … the type that you just add water or milk? The fish and salad were fine but nothing outstanding. We did like the tostada!
We received the bill and laughed at how they added a 20% tip. I mean we gladly tip our servers well but this experience was nothing but doing the bare minimum. We asked for that to be changed cause tipping is voluntary and also the service was mediocre. Would I recommend this place maybe but it’s more for grabbing a few beers and ordering small dishes to pick on. I’d probably go elsewhere if I wanted a...
Read moreWe’ve seen this restaurant on Instagram and TikTok before and on our most recent trip to Guatemala we had the opportunity to finally visit it.
From start to finish we had an amazing experience and were lucky to meet the Chef and Owner Pablo as well as the Kitchen Chef Javi. Our server Ronald Villar was an excellent waiter who was always on point.
This we what we tried and strongly recommend “TOSTADAS” try them all we had the Aguachile, Pescado ahumado, Lengua, Atún, Cerdo, Gua Baos de Cerdo and also we had the Puyazo con Hongos y Chiles paired with a very Cold Cabro beer.
The Decor of this place is amazing and the atmosphere was great.
We loved it.
Definitely coming back.

We went in and they had 2 guest chefs for the night and a special menu, which we were very excited about. We were greeted by our waiter who had absolutely no idea about any of the dishes, couldn’t care to explain the concept or the fact that there were two guest chefs. While the food was good, the utter lack of care, attention or experience made the night less than remarkable. It’s unfortunate when restaurants with potential fail to overlook the service and diner experience. The only highlight in our service was the sommelier who took the time and care to walk us through the wine...
