THAI TOO — Restaurant in St Peter Port

Small Thai place a short walk from the port with a reasonable selection of stir fry, noodle and curry dishes, many of the staple Thai meals are here. All the dishes tasted great, although we found the chicken wings a bit to salty. The staff warned us that the meals were very spicy, this warning was repeated several times to the point we changed our choice… they said they could make things less spicy and mild but after the hassle of the warning we just gave up and changed the dishes. They may be too spicy but we will never know! We also had to wait for over an hour for our main courses to arrive. We understand a large party (which arrived after us) ordered just mains and as the kitchen is staffed by one (very good) chef it took a while for things to turn up, which was frustrating for the kids. A meal for 2 adults 2 kids and no alcoholic drinks cost...

Brilliant tasting Thai food. Not for the faint hearted if you like your food hot! They will cater for all levels of heat sensitivity but if you want an incredibly tasty and equally hot food this is the place. May be a little premium in price but well worth it. The layout is a little awkward simply because of the shape of the building which if busy can be a little noisy. Best book a table.
