What a gem of a spot! I had the absolute pleasure of visiting The Golden Lion in Guernsey, and let me tell you .. it did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest energy, vibrant vibes, and a buzz that can only come from a place filled with amazing souls and beautiful people.

The hospitality? Impeccable! The staff were so kind, attentive, and genuinely made the whole experience feel special. It’s rare to find a pub that strikes the perfect balance between laid-back charm and electric energy, but The Golden Lion nails it.

And yes… I even ended up taking a shot of Fireball (who even am I?!), because the atmosphere demanded a little celebration!

This is an amazing craft beer house which is owned by White Rock Brewery, which is Guernsey's only mico-brewery. Needs a little help. Ice appears to come with everything without being requested. That creates a problem if you didn't want ice. Staff happy to chat to each other rather than pay attention to what the customer wants or is actually trying to draw their attention to.
