If you're on the hunt for authentic Tijuana-style tacos, look no further than Taqueria Mexicana. I recently had the pleasure of trying their three-taco combo, which included carne asada, chicken, and asada pork, and I was blown away by the quality and flavor of each one.
The carne asada taco was a standout, featuring perfectly grilled beef that was juicy and flavorful. The chicken taco was equally impressive, with tender, well-seasoned meat that paired wonderfully with the fresh toppings. The asada pork taco, however, might have been my favorite, with its rich, savory taste and melt-in-your-mouth texture.
What makes these tacos truly exceptional is their authenticity. Each bite transported me straight to the streets of Tijuana, thanks to the traditional preparation methods and high-quality ingredients. The salsas and garnishes added the perfect finishing touch, enhancing the flavors without overpowering the main ingredients.
I highly recommend giving these tacos a try. Be sure to ask for Douglas – he'll set you up with the best tacos and ensure you have an unforgettable dining experience. Trust me, you won't be...
Read moreYes, yes yes… Douglas does you so right with the food here. I arrived at sunset and sat out on the dock. The tacos and quesadillas was perfect. I had the beef and the sauce on the tacos is amazing. You might pass this place by bc of the look but, if you do, you missed one of the best meals in west end. Douglas and his team are attentive, and take great pride in the product they serve. This is a great family run business that you will be supporting so be sure to stop by, and it’s a great place to watch the sunset. I save my last words to say to google, no one wants to read a 200 word review. They want 50 words, a few pictures then getting out from behind their computer/phone and exploring. So shorten the amount needed for reviews. So stop reading and get out there and explore. That goes for you too google...
Read moreI was disappointed with this restaurant, which is more likely a beach hut. The tacos and quesadillas were very small and nothing special, tasted okay, but super expensive for what it was it was. After eating there for 25 Dollars I was still hungry when leaving. In Australia we do not have a tipping culture and I was not satisfied plus the owner serves himself here, no waiter/ waitress, so I tipped 10%. When leaving I heard him loudly complaining in Spanish about the low tip, for me that is an absolute No-go. He seems very nice and friendly but only superficially, wont go...
