I've been an avid cigar smoker for a long time and love trying new cigars. I smoke about 4-5 per week. I live in Canada and regularly have access to cigars from everywhere in the world. I'm really not sure why so many people are leaving bad reviews. My only thought is that they're very occasional cigar smokers that don't know what they're doing. A poor burn is typically because of a poor light. And if you don't have an even burn, any cigar is going to be awful. 1) Don't buy Cubans here or at any tourism location in the world. They're counterfeits. Everywhere. Don't buy them. 2) The local brand is actually really good. I bought about 20 cigars - 2 of every different kind I could find. I actually really enjoyed most of them. The burn was good, the wrappers are clean. The rolling is mostly good - some of the caps aren't perfect but they're not bad at all. 3) The humidity? They're all cello wrapped so the ambient humidity is going to have low effect on them. And we're talking about being be humid sea air all the time - they're not going to be dry. Too humid or too dry and the wrappers will crack and you'll be able to see that right away. That salty sea air is what makes Honduran tobacco so special. 4) Do they have some light spots that may burn a short run? Yes. Did I have one that had tobacco beetle holes? Yes. But only one and you can get that from any manufacturer. I like the local Honduran tobacco (it's from the mainland) and enjoyed the cigars here from maduro to claro. I had no light or burn problems. I'm down to my last two and would revisit this location again but would probably haggle a bit.

Nice little store. Focused selection. Locally produced tobacco. An average cigar but good for what it costs. If you need a stick it’s definitely worth getting a couple.

Nice guy. Help me to use my phone in a foreign country. Lots of different varieties of cigars. It was pretty good.

Not sure why the low reviews. I have been smoking cigars for 30 years so I hope I have learned a thing or two in those years. I went to the shop across the road that had a much higher rating … big mistake. Nothing there and mainly Rocky Patel’s which I get from the USA much cheaper (and the selection was very poor and you cannot buy boxes, plus the prices were much higher).

I met the owner … overly cheap and I bought several singles to test what I wanted to bring home.

When I came back, he wasn’t there but the nice lady i the shop called him so we could put a deal together on 7 boxes. I liked every single sample I bought (5) and bought boxes of all of them.

They burn well, awesome aroma (tested each single with the group I was with to get their input on the aroma and all 5 were liked … all don’t some cigars so that was a bonus). What I like most is the tobacco blend must be very special as you don’t get that aftertaste once you finish the cigar like most … very clean cigars.

I would highly recommend you go there and buy boxes vs singles (large savings) and look at any of the vintage cigars.

Thank you … made my stay in Roatan a...

I visited Cigar Factory first week of February. Yes it’s a tourist trap, but so is Frank’s across the street and Frank’s price gouging was a turn off.

I bought three boxes, one each kind. The price was about right, a little higher than expected in Honduras. The flavor of each type was for the most part consistent throughout the box and each cigar. I did find some cigars burning uneven and runs were common. A few cigar had voids in them and a hallow whole 2-3 mm would open presenting a challenge to smoke around. The quality to price and taste made them a good value. Would I buy them again? Yes, but I intended to negotiate a better price to make these a...
