I ate here a few times, the food was good and normal menu, as well as decent/average prices. -I came here for lunch once, dinner once, and breakfast once. -Menu is good, normal american/canadian food, with some extra sea food since its a sea town. Prices are what i found to be average or slightly below average for similar places. -I ate lunch here when i first arrived, ordered a pepperoni pizza. The pizza took a while to come, but it was longer for me because i didnt have a local sim card in my phone yet, and had not checked into hotel room yet so didnt have shorts on yet so very hot. But the pizza was good, there was lots of cheese and the top could have been cooked more but thats my personal preference. -Dinner i had the fish and chips, it was good but there was 2 things with the fish, 1) that the batter on it is fried chicken batter. It tasted like eating fried chicken, maybe they cooked it in a chicken oil fryer or somthing? but it was still good tasting, i just had to make sure at the start that is was fish lol, but it was. and 2) there was a bone in one of the 3 fillets, and i pointed it out to the waiter and they gave me 10% off even though i just pointed it out at the end and didnt ask for anything about it. -The breakfast was the healthy breakfast, of fruit, yogurt and granola. The yogurt was slightly different then im used to, but still ok to eat, and fruit and granola was good. there was unlimited juice for breakfast from the self serve thing, it was good juice. -Wait staff are good and friendly. you pay at the reception. -This restaurant is part of a dive resort. The wait staff asked me in the morning what room i was in, but i just said i am not staying here and they said ok and left. The restaurant is open to everyone. -Nice views of the sunset and water from tables -looks like they have a outdoor pizza oven near entrance, but my pizza was not...

Dive boats run 3 times per day, 9am, 11am, and 2pm. Cost to rent their gear and dive is 35 (I think), we brought our own which was 25 per dive. If you dive 2 dives per day they give you the hotel room for 10$! But it is 2 dives EACH if you are there as a couple.
The beds kind of suck, there was a fan in our room but the AC was broken.... Mosquitoes invaded our room and I refused to wear bug spray to bed so I was eaten alive. The entrance to the rooms are through the restaurant so you can eat without walking down the street (Best place to eat are the Tex-Mex place and the Wet Spot).
Water is not potable so you need to purchase from one of the stores down the street. We never got sick though and everything in town seems to be edible, even the couple kids that run a taco cart on the side of the road at night.
Cant think of anything else to say. Great place, I would stay...

The menu at Splash Inn is varied enough that we could all find something that we liked. Prices are pretty good for the area. Fish and Chips, a burger or a pizza...around fourteen bucks for whichever. We tried the fajitas and were pleased. It seems like their fryer can only hold about two portions of fish and fries. When the three of us ordered the fish and chips or even all three of us getting fries...the total portion seemed to be the same for two as for three...see pics.
A good spot to people watch, sip a beer and...
