Lúa Restaurant — Restaurant in Budapest

Hi, Lua Restaurant was a place i regularly went. I always ordered the same plate of food, Egg Fried Rice with Grilled Duck and always were satisfied with the result; However when i went there yesterday the experience were quite not the same. Duck tasted odd and it was looking different than usual and an incredibly big portion which i liked but it was again not the same experiences i had before there. I ate all my food and felt weird afterwards. Up until 2-3 hrs everything was going regular but then a really disgusting feeling in my stomach hit me and things all went downhill after that and i am now facing with food poisoning. I liked the food before but now sadly i wont be trying it again. Although the service is always good they are helpful some random fly fell in my drink and they offered to change and didnt charge for all of the drinks. But i dont know if thats what we go through and get...

I had lunch here. The restaurant was very busy but the service was fast and the quality was excellent. The staff were very friendly. It was funny that some people commented that the staff did not speak Hungarian. You cannot go to an Asian restaurant and expect them to speak your native language, it is like going to Asia and asking everyone there to speak English. Great place! Was a bit nervous after reading some people mention some smell in the reviews; it is a bit moist inside, but definitely doesn't smell bad! Waiter was nicely greeting us on arrival and showed us to table. Not too chatty, which my quiet Finn side appreciates. 😄 Food was fast and delicious and service was straight forward....
