Great chat with, who I think was the proprietor. Sorry I should have asked your name. The food was delicious, perfect level of heat for me and even my partners normally korma primed pallet was able to enjoy the meal.
Great chatting to you about your time in the U.K hope you guys do really well as I understand you only recently took over.
In terms of the details, we ordered two chicken tika masala.
It's a rich, creamy, mildly spiced curry dish served with rice for what I feel is a very reasonable price.
We also ordered a quater peice of peri peri chicken, which was well cooked and delicious. (Not Indian food obviously, but they also sell pizza, burger and fries.)
The indian menu selection is small but that allows consistency between dishes and has broad enough shoulders to cater for our vegie friends with aplomb. I very much appreciated your flexibility in reducing the already mild spice level for my partner.
If you are craving for a taste of home as a traveller from the UK, this will scratch that itch.
If you are a stranger to indian food and want to take the plunge you are in safe hands.
Worth your consideration, your time and your money.
I'd have taken photos but I ate the food too quickly to allow for it; a glowing endorsement.
We opted for takeaway and ate it at our apartment, the restaurant provided disposable spoons for the purpose which was a great thought, given I'd not considered the absence of cutlery.
Enjoy the food kind people of Budapest and all ye wayward travelers, it's a gem and if you've not been there yet, you are...

Read moreThe only bad thing about this restaurant is that I always end up eating more than I should because it is just addictively too tasty and for the price, another burger here won’t leave a hole in the pocket like it would in other places locally. The prices for such quality food and service was a pleasant surprise.
Visit Budapest often on business from London and the food is nothing more than a boring extortion all-around Budapest just like London— but this place is full of flavour and not just the double stacked beef burger but also the pizza was the best I’ve had yet. Yes, the best — that is saying a lot as I travel a lot.
I finally met the chef today who was actually the owner just to thank him for the extra weight I put on at every business trip to which he showed a warm appreciation.
Highly recommend. You will end up leaving a good...
