Tartufo Brunch & Bistro — Restaurant in Budapest

We came to this brunch place with high expectations after reading so many positive reviews. The atmosphere was pleasant, the place itself stylish, and the service was completely fine. However, the food didn’t really impress us. One of us had the eggs benedict: it was nicely prepared but very simple, nothing particularly special about it. I ordered an omelette, which I found too oily, maybe it’s just a matter of personal taste, but it wasn’t very enjoyable. It was also a bit disappointing that they couldn’t make the omelette without meat. Usually, this hasn’t been an issue elsewhere when I’ve asked. Luckily, there was an option that only included bacon as a topping, so I ordered that version without the bacon. Still, the dish felt quite expensive for what it was, both in terms of flavor and portion size. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but for a brunch place in this price range, I expected a bit more. The place itself has potential, but the food didn’t quite live up...

I recently visited this charming bar and restaurant that left a generally positive impression on me. The interior was well designed, striking a balance between solid, understated elegance and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s a place where you can feel comfortable, whether you're there for a casual coffee or a more formal meal. The service was notably quick and polite, which I appreciated, as it made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The coffee was well-prepared, rich, and satisfying, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

However, one aspect that slightly dampened my experience was the service fee. While I understand that service fees are common in many establishments, I believe it should be more based in a voluntary basis rather than being mandatory. Senkinek nem ajánlom a helyet míg le nem csendesül ez a nagy hype amit most kapott. Foglaltam asztalt a helyre 4-5 nappal korábban és megkaptuk a legrosszabb aszalt ami az egész helyen volt. A konyha mellett...sajnos nagyon nagy volt az összevisszaság, a hely tele volt amire a pincérek kapacitása nem volt elég. A rendelést sem írták fel és nem is azt kaptuk amit kértünk. A rendelés felvételekor megkérdeztem, hogy milyen süteményeik vannak, amire a válasz az volt hogy most csak pisztáciás csiga mivel nagy rá a kereslet.... oké legyen az. Hát most elfogyott de fél óránként készül új, rendben akkor fél óra múlva szeretnék... megkaptuk az ételt amit rendeltünk közben és hát ott sem sikerült megfelelően kihozni amit kértünk, külön kiemeltük, hogy a hamburgerbe nem kérünk salátát... természetesen volt benne... Majd eltelt 40 perc ismét megkérdeztem hogy kaphatok-e pisztáciás csigát.. válasz hát sajnos ölnek érte,mondom rendben de 40 perce jeleztem, hogy kérnék.. válasz megnézi mit tehet, ismét eltelt 15 perc semmi válasz úgyhogy inkább fizettünk és eljöttünk.
