hummusbar — Restaurant in Budapest

I had a very disappointing experience at Hummus Bar. When I tried to place an order, the first staff member told me she didn’t speak English and called her colleague to assist. Unfortunately, the colleague didn’t even ask how she could help — she simply told me that the order would take time, without any further explanation. I said “okay” and decided to leave, but she didn’t say a word or even acknowledge me. It’s clear there is no mangers or any team leader There was also another staff member with black hair standing nearby who seemed completely disengaged. He avoided eye contact and made no effort to assist, clearly trying not to be involved.

The entire atmosphere felt disorganized and lacked any sense of leadership or management presence. It felt like no one was really in charge or cared about customer service.

Sadly, this was my first and last visit. I won’t be recommending this...

update: Food has improved the last couple of months, very tasty however overpriced. The quality of the food has been very bad for the last year, let alone the staff: cooking chicken half way, giving green and super soggy fries and never admitting the mistakes. these fries you see in the picture they are green (can cause food poising) and are very oily and soggy, even my dog did not want to take a bite. This franchise is one of my favourite in the city. The food is on a good price, it fill you up and last but not least it is healthy. On my vegetarian days it is nice to eat here, honestly the dishes with the meet is not fit next to the humus for me. This place near Kolossy is definitely the most friendly place not just in this franchise but in this area. They were kind and helpful and they had some offers which salad fits with my dish. I had a great time here, I wish I would live closer....
