Homely place for eating one of the very best sushi in Budapest ;)
I have been there twice and will surely visit again. The chef only uses ingredients of the highest quality (e.g. he throws away which Wasabi would gladly serve up). This results in very flavourful and rich sushi. Prices are high but nothing is sparing, makis and nigiris are also rich in fish. Also, quality green tea is free in the afternoon. Read moreI really wanted to like this restaurant after reading all the good reviews, but it was unfortunately a very disappointing experience and not at all what I expected - there’s an overbearing fishy smell as soon as you step in, which tells me their fish isn’t very fresh, the egg rolls we were served were green in some parts for some reason, and the place was nearly empty during our entire 2 hour stay, which made the athmosphere unsettling. We found out about it from a friend and although it may look simple, it’s a great place! It’s owned by a Japanese guy who cooks everything himself.
There are lots of options: soups, seaweed, sushi, etc.
The prices are different, sushi is quite pricy, but the fish used is different, not only salmon. And the taste is great!
We were given green tea for free which was also nice!
You can pay by card there! We’ll definitely come back to this place to try...
