Homely place for eating one of the very best sushi in Budapest ;)

I have been there twice and will surely visit again. The chef only uses ingredients of the highest quality (e.g. he throws away which Wasabi would gladly serve up). This results in very flavourful and rich sushi. Prices are high but nothing is sparing, makis and nigiris are also rich in fish. Also, quality green tea is free in the afternoon. I have read some bad responses to the service, but I was only there when a very friendly lady was the waitress and I can only tell wonders about her. Highly recommended if you crave for...

I really wanted to like this restaurant after reading all the good reviews, but it was unfortunately a very disappointing experience and not at all what I expected - there’s an overbearing fishy smell as soon as you step in, which tells me their fish isn’t very fresh, the egg rolls we were served were green in some parts for some reason, and the place was nearly empty during our entire 2 hour stay, which made the athmosphere unsettling. It’s especially saddening considering it’s not often that you see authentic Japanese restaurants with Japanese staff. Definitely would not...

Amazing hidden place! Very authentic!

We found out about it from a friend and although it may look simple, it’s a great place! It’s owned by a Japanese guy who cooks everything himself.

There are lots of options: soups, seaweed, sushi, etc.

The prices are different, sushi is quite pricy, but the fish used is different, not only salmon. And the taste is great!

We were given green tea for free which was also nice!

You can pay by card there! We’ll definitely come back to this place to try...

Really good and authentic sushi place in Budapest. This restaurant is a hidden, little, cozy place on the Buda side. The sushi is made by a japanese sushi master since 2001. The soy sauce could be a better or more authentic, but regardless the sushi was amazing! The staff speaks English and Hungarian and are very welcoming and nice people! Thank you for the meal, definitely going back! Recommend it to everyone who likes japanese food. The price for two people (a little too much food) was around 27K HUF.
