TasteVino is a sweet little gem. We had a very good wine tasting of the local grapes here. We started with local white wines Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Blanc and finished with fruity reds: Zweigelt and Kekfrankos. The owner is a knowledgeable and easy-going guy with more than 15 years of experience in the wine industry. To complement the fine wines we had an excellent cheese and serrano ham platter. The owner was clearly born to run a wine bar – he quickly recognized what we were looking for and obviously has extensive experience in winemaking. His attention to detail is remarkable: from top-quality wine glasses to carefully selected food pairings, everything was just perfect. He alone is reason enough to return to Sopron, which we truly enjoyed.
