Desh Pardes — Restaurant in Assam

UNPROFESSIONAL, MISMANAGED, POOR SERVICE!!!

Placed a catering order for 200 people for a Juron Ceremony from this restaurant.

On the day of the event, even the pulao wasn't ready until 1:30pm... We later realized that they were literally cooking everything on site ( It was discussed that only 20% final food prep would be done on site ).

Few guests left without having Lunch. And for the others, the family members and friends had to step in to serve food because no servers were available ( Having servers was part of the package).

The family had to APOLOGIZE to guests for unavailability of food and the confusion.

I believe the owner, Mr. Mukesh didn't really understand the importance of a Juron ceremony. Because he literally didn't even apologize once for how he ruined our peace of mind that day.

80% payment was done in advance. Guess this was my biggest mistake..(People don't really work unless you hold their money).

The food was Good !!! . No complaints on that atleast.

I would recommend to order and pick up food from this place directly, not call them...

Bad, bad, horrible place overall… don’t know how they are even still running. cutlery was visibly dirty and waiter just shrugged when i pointed out. zero courtesy, zero service. manager sitting at counter engrossed eagerly in his phone, ignoring our complaints, just tapping away happily like a monkey playing tetris... his attitude is just as bad as the waiters if not worse. what a joke. honestly the most unprofessional and greedy staff i have ever seen, they only care about forcing the bill to you. served garbage and made a quick buck from me. ruined my evening completely. I will never...

Had an awesome experience. Food was good and price was in budget. Nice ambience and interiors too. Located on MG road in the same building as icici bank. If you are coming from pan bazar side the look for the restaurant just after crossing JBs. And if you coming from bharalumukh side than u can find the restaurant on right side just after crossing machkhowa. Resturant also has a private space for kitty party, small marriage program likes engagement, birthday anniversary or get together on some special occasion.
