After we returned to our Airbnb accommodation at Christian Basti in the heart of Guwahati yesterday (Sunday – June 22, 2025), my partner and I were hungry, and we had to arrange for our dinner. Instead of going out, we chose the easier option – that of ordering on Zomato. After a careful scanning of the available options, we ordered from this place called Jutire Akhaj Restaurant, which is located at Beltola. We selected this restaurant as we wanted to have some fish, and this restaurant seemed like the best bet. Very bad service . Suggest not to order from this restaurant over swigy or zomato . I ordered lunch for 3 persons and after 2 hrs of waiting I had to cancel the order . I called 5 times to the restaurant at the phone no given at swigy and only 2 twice phone was received and informed me that packing material is not available and hence the delay is happening . I am surprised how come this kind of irresponsible restaurants are part of swigy or Zomato. This little blink-and-you-miss outlet is a hidden gem. Looking at it from outside, you do not really have much expectations from it. The seating is basic and can get a little cramped in the evenings. The star of this little restaurant are the pork delicacies. I have tried quite a few of their pork items and they are put up really tender pieces in lip smacking curries.
