Pathetic Service at Mast Biryani Beltola

Date of Incident - 27th Feb 2022. Very disappointed with the service standards. Had ordered Chicken Kebab Biryani Full at the Beltola restaurant as walk-in customers.

Made us sit for over 40 minutes. When we enquired why we were not getting served food, was informed that the Kebab Biryani was not available and so was advised to order something else.

Is it not the restaurant's prerogative to inform customers if something is unavailable or is it MB's policy to wait till the customer asks? If we had not asked, would Mast Biryani have continued to ignore two hungry customers? For how long were they planning to ignore?

Mast Biryani Zoo Road is great and I'm a regular customer there. I've never faced any issue related to food or service there, and that's why we entered the Beltola branch as well at around 2.15 PM. Mast Biryani Beltola really did a great disservice to the Brand by making is wait 40-45 minutes only to tell us that the only item we ordered was not available.

Came over to Cafe UC24 instead. Was served Biryani in 10 minutes of...

The restaurant has a mosquito farm.... after telling the staff about the mosquitoes they did nothing. Some of their staff was doing a meeting on a vacant dining table... using very abusive slang to someone on the phone...and it made us very uncomfortable as we were with family. After that a boy came to take the order. We ordered KOLKATA MUTTON DUM BIRYANI and MALAI CHICKEN HANDI and waited....after 10 minutes one another guy came and said...that the Mutton biriyani is not available we have to go for another one with chicken..then we ordered the KOLKATA CHICKEN DUM BIRYAN. After waiting more than 10 minutes the same guy came and said this one is also not available ..so again we have to select that one biriyani which is suggested by the guy...and we ordered and told him to bring a less spicy biriyani...and after 20 minutes of hunting mosquitoes they served us the items...and we started to eat...but we received a very spicy biriyani..which was full of spicy gravy 🤮 so finally I understand that Mast Biriyani is now become WORTS...
