AMBUR STAR BRIYANI SINCE 1890 - JP Nagar — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Decided to give this place a visit, after seeing it opened recently along 24th Main road. It's a famous chain having few outlets in Bangalore. We ordered the following: Chicken 65 Biriyani - 5 pieces of boneless chicken 65 served along with Biriyani rice; Chicken 555 - was made boneless on request, mild spicy made with cashew. They serve Onion Raitha and Brinjal Salan separately and tastes good. Overall a good place. Service was quick and staff were friendly. It was less crowded and has a seating capacity of around 50 pax. Price is slightly on the higher side, however, worth for the taste and giving a try. Gonna try again. Payment can be made via UPI and cash.

Second visit: We gave another visit to try other items in their menu which we had not tried in the first visit. We had pepper rasam soup, Chicken chettinad soup, Masala papad, toofani chicken, star special tandoor chicken boneless, chicken Varuval, Ceylon parotta, and Kerala parotta as well as assorted goli soda and ice cream scoops and bread halwa for desserts. The toofani chicken and the special tandoor chicken was the highlight amongst the whole we tried. Quantity of curry is apt for 3 people. The only thing I would prefer is to customise to allow boneless chicken in curries instead of with bone. Overall liked the visit.

Another visit: Visited here on a Monday for lunch. It wasn't crowded when we visited. We had the following: Nethili fry, Maharani Chicken, Bangda First Tawa Roast, Masala Papad, Sezmi Chicken Dry, Chicken 65 biriyani, Chicken Biriyani, Chicken keema vada, Mango ice cream and Bread halwa and in beverages - lithci pulpy, goli soda and lime juice/soda. While all the dishes were really good in taste and quantity, it took more than the usual time to serve the items. They did acknowledge it as their staff were on weekly off after a busy Sunday but I think they could have better planned to ensure customer experience...

I ordered egg biriyani from Zomato and it was 1 hour late I was calling delivery partner and he told that the food is preparing mam so I called for restaurant person. He told MaAm is preparing so i told okay send me the fast after like one hour again. I called him. It is still preparing so I called for Delivery partner, what is happening so that he told they are not giving me mam they telling that it is being prepared being prepared, so after long time, I got my order. It came to my home. I took that parcel. I came to the home and I opened it box. It was like smelly. I was like okay. I took rice a bit and it took one egg The one. It was very old egg It was like morning prepared or yesterday is it and it was also freeze. It was not good. It was freeze egg inside, it was filled black . So I called hotel person. He told me that wait wait let me put call on hold and call for that fellow who stays in hotel. He is in the fellow he was talking that it the egg was over. So I prepared newly for you so it took time it was fresh. I told him when it was fresh why it smells like black inside inside the white egg, yellow yellow is like black one I asked him he was like no, I have camera evidence and all told when I was talking only cut off the call the worst experience from five star Ambur Biriyani, so please, if you’re wishing to take online, please do not take the bad and worst experience again. The hotel representative did not call me and told me that we are sorry or anything. He was like neglected us when I gave it to baby, what would happen ,,,,health claim should take action for this hotel mainly they should be health claim.
