BOHO Koramangala — Restaurant in Bengaluru

A nice cosy place with great music spread on the ground and first floor in Koramangala.

The place attracts trendy crowd and serves some of the unique cocktails...thanks to the bartender skills..tastes refreshing and feels good.

A weekend well spent with the right crowd.

Some of the cocktails tried were-

1.Only in Boho-Signature cocktail,pretty good 2.Tom & Jerry-vodka based. The sour chases the sweet in the drink,hence the name 3.Get lucky tonight 4.Three Idiots- this drink is clearly the STAR OF THE EVENING .A perfect vodka based drink with coriander base with loads of Ice served in a earthen pot 5.Tears of Boho- super spicy vodka based that challenges you to bring tears in your eyes Hail Storm 7.Sweet Sunrise 8.London Sour 9.Vampire kiss 10.Screaming Orgasm

The starters tried were- 1.Marinara Pizza-a nice simple yet tasty pizza. A perfect starter for a perfect evening. 2.Chilli garlic Mushroom- seriously we were searching for the mushrooms here chef. Extra serving of mushroom quantity will help. The dish was good. 3.BBQ Chicken Wings- a great dampener. Could have been better by leaps and bounds. Needs serious thinking on this dish.. Chef-pls note. 4.Chicken Satay- good 5.Asian Corn- the humble Corn done so well that you will be yearning for more 6.Roti Canoi- a simple yet a good thinking of the chef.. good presentation and a great starter 7.Non Veg Platter-a perfect plate 8.Veg Nachos-a disappointment... could have been far better. My view is that what cheese and other ingredients sprinkled on top should be the same till the last bite which was not the case here..

The main course tried were-

1.Roti/kulcha(Bread Basket)-Fresh,hot and crisp.Baked to perfection 2.Dal Makhani-Done too well.Spices right never thought vegetarian dish can be so tasty 3.Murg Makhani- tender chicken well cooked with the right spices..a joy to eat. 4.Chicken Biryani- one of the good Biryani tastes so far... good dish chef 5.Peri Peri Chicken Breast-good

The desserts tried were-

1.Gulab Jamoon -too good.Just sweet,crispy outside,soft inside with the right sugar syrup 2.Ice cream-good

The service was bit tardy for the heavy crowd they handle on weekends.

All the cocktails are priced between Rs 300/- to Rs 400/- and are worth every penny.

Cards accepted.

Restrooms are clean and swanky.

Not kid friendly...

Parking major headache.

A Catchy Resto-Pub & Bar located on the busy street of Kormangla is quite impressive with its beautiful interior. The huge space is divided into ground-floor and mezzanine floor. I visited on a Karaoke night that happens on every Thursday.

I started with a drink called 'All is Well' which is a whiskey-based cocktail.It was too good. Boho's Special Drinks have quite interesting names which will take your attention as soon as you flip the bar menu.

'Only In BOHO' A Whiskey based drink with Irish syrup & hazelnut syrup.Served in a Martini glass with chocolate syrup in an impressive way. Asian, American, and Continental delicacies.

Albert Vangru 's awe-inspiring masterpiece was 'Three Idiots'.It was totally refreshing. In every sip, you will get the flavour of Aam-Panna(Spiced Mango pulp) , coriander, chillies and vodka.Must try it.

"Boho Nut " A Captivating Cocktail which got served in a tender-coconut. It was garnished with fresh mint leaves and had an explosion of flavours as I sipped. The last drink I tried was 'Get Lucky Tonight'.The combination of Whiskey & Passion-fruit is astounding..

#FOOD They serve a variety of Asian, American, and Continental delicacies. I tried Crispy Corn , Roti-Channa , Chili Mushroom & Four Pepper Cream n broccoli.Roti-Channa was good with balanced Indian spices. Chicken skewers with peanut sauce got served as we ordered Chicken Satay. "Piggy Chop", Perfectly cooked Honey mustard pork chop which was served with cranberry sauce. It was delicious. A pork lover must not miss it. An ingenious pork preparation. In the main course ,I tried some Pita bread with Hummus. Hummus could be better though. Charred Grill Fish Steak was the next thing we tried. I ended my lavish dinner with a warm piece...

My experience with this place altogether was not customer Friendly. After Paying entry fees a lady escorted us to a seat which she chose and we had to sit there without giving any opportunity to choose our place. The entry coupon was not handed over to us and we couldn't even get to see what was written on it. After some wait the ordered food was served without proper service cutlery .we had to nibble the food with the dinner fork to the quarter dishes which was given to us to be distributed by ourselves. Most important message, when I ordered my drink and food the gentleman made us sure about 10%service charge printed on the menu which I agreed to. We have ordered for watermelon and feta cheese salad. Being a traveller and with a little knowledge of food I was expecting a delicious and healthy salad but on the contrary we get only few slices of watermelon (not chilled, seeds were intact) with an ample amount of rocket leaves and garnished with little fetta cheese( pic added). When gently asked the waiter about the feta cheese which was supposed to be one of the prime ingredients in my salad, he said that they serve like this only here. I requested the waiter if he could consult with the chef as this seems to be rocket and watermelon salad and not that I had called for. However my request was denied with a suggestion that if I dig in I will find the taste of feta cheese. He left us with no other option than swallowing the salad.

Murg Kali mirch kebab was fantastic.

My plan was to spend a good evening with my family and friends, however with the kind of hospitality(with almost sleepy service) we received, we decided to leave as soon as we had finished whatever we had ordered. I would give it a zero...
