Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Bengaluru

The service speed was quite bad. I was the only customer who came in around noon time (13-Oct). There were 2 staff members and it took them almost 15 mins to serve an Americano. Teh coffee was average at best and nothing to write home about. Another customer walked in asking for latte or something and it looked like the store didn't have it at the time. That customer had to be given directions to another cafe :). So generous! When the third customer came in, both the staff members were in the pantry and there was no one to attend to him.

I was visiting CCD after more than a decade, to give the Indian OG another chance and to reminisce of the past good times I have had here. This used to be the place where a lot happened over coffee. But now it just feels like its counting its days. On one side I was gutted to see CCD's present state, given it's history.

Honestly, how difficult is it to set and provide a basic service quality expectation in a repeatable operation model business? Cafe coffee day could have held its own against stiff competition by maintaining strong service and hospitality standards, even if the coffees couldn't have competed against Starbucks and the likes.

Today I went to this coffee cafe day the lady who was there at the coffee coffee day was not very sure how to use Paytm to make a payment after 30 minutes of attempt she gave up and when I was about to leave she said that I have to pay for the bill even if I don't eat anything because she has already placed in order without my concern this made me angry then I thought let's have the food for the sake of coffee cafe day brand but then again she disappointed me the specific instruction was to have one sandwich with cheese and one with no cheese here also she makes a mistake and then the later part where she was supposed to serve as momo steamer once the one that she gave at few momos which were literally like the grated and I had difficulty even lifting them up from the plate how can someone eat such thing this kind of person brings disgrace to brand name I personally always prefer coffee at CCD but this experience today will make me think twice before I crave for...

Very bad attitude of lady staff. I arrived here as a first staff and ordered burger, while during she severed I asked for water. She just went out of the outlet nodding the head and returned after 5-6 mins later. Again I prompted her for water and tissues for which she got a glass of water and then went out . While she was on her way out I just called her and said I have even asked for tissues for which yes I am getting and went outside . After 7-8 mins, while there was arrival of another customer she came running . I raised my hand for tissues again , for which she handed over the tissue to the second staff who was mopping. I was initially pissed of with the lady staff behaviour and attitude and upon which tissue was given to me by a staff who was cleaning .
