Cafe Treat, indeed it is a treat. It's in a prime location, only thing is the hotel itself is on a way way road. It is also located a little bit inwards, with the a driveway from the road to the doors of the establishment. It is just before the beginning of the flyover on Richmond Road. Be vigilant for the hotel insignia on the left side on the one way in the correct direction.
Well, that was the location. Let's talk service. I'd say the person serving us our lunch buffet was pretty good. Polite, good listener, quick on his feet (i mean literally), detailed. The other staff were quite warm. No negatives there.
Moving on to the culinary. I had gone for lunch. They had a buffet in cafe treat. They also have a resto bar named Fuel, a open air rooftop restaurant called Puran da Dhaba. The cafe treat buffet was really well set. Let me just describe it in 3 adjectives - full flavoured, great whiff, composite consistency.
Only one aspect where they fell short by 1 star is the variety of the culinary pieces on the menu is limited. Very selective and concise. You'd expect some fancy dishes in the main course. Don't, you'll not be satisfied. Though they have a good desert menu, which has variety. The main course can become boring very quick (right after 2 rounds of the buffet arrangement for me). You'll end up having tasted all the dishes you want in 1 or 2 rounds given each round you take 1-2 dishes at a time. As i said earlier, the deserts were simple in flavour but the presentation was hyped.
Well overall my rating says it and it is precise. Enjoy the limited photos just...
Read moreWe went for brunch with our team, the buffet they served is worst. Especially, chicken and mutton is not boiled properly. Even, veg food is not good. The floor manager has no professionalism at all, he doesn't care about the customer satisfaction. He behaved very rudely which did not create a good experience when we told about non veg not cooked properly there attitude was like carefree,at last when we asked for bill they gave a bill where printed numbers are not seen clearly we requested the floor manager to provide a clear bill as we have to submit to company he again showed an arrogant attitude, later we had to call another person who spoke to him and gave a proper printed bill, why should we have to do so much run around for a simple bill.would definitely not recommended this place to anyone as it's not...
Read moreI recently dined at the restaurant in Pride Hotel on Richmond Road, Bangalore, and had a deeply disappointing experience. On [specific date], I found a fly in my food, which is both unacceptable and alarming from a hygiene standpoint.
I immediately reported the issue to the staff, who were apologetic but unable to provide a satisfactory resolution at the time. This incident raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and food safety standards maintained at this establishment.
As a guest, I expect high standards of hygiene, especially in a reputed hotel like Pride. I hope that the management takes immediate steps to address this issue and ensures that such incidents do not occur in the future.
Thanks &...
