Cakewala Bakery and Cafe — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I had thought Cake wala is all about delicious desserts and munchies of bread category, until I came across the Cake wala bakery and cafe.

This outlet of Cakewala has a Bakery along with a dine-in facility where they serve delicious cuisine. Even though both the Berkay and dine-in halls are separated by a common glass, they are not interconnected.

The Bakery section is as usual looks good with varieties of colorful desserts placed in glass cabinets. Good varieties but the menu lacks in vegetarian options.

The dine in hall has got soothing ambiance with comfortable sofas. The interiors are classy and the hall is well lit with natural light because of large glass windows.The menu is good with lots of options for vegetarian and non-vegetarians.

After going through the menu I decided to have Rasmalai pastry.

This circular shaped pastry looked amazing in yellow hue with granular texture all over it. In contrast Inside it had got was smooth and juicy. The taste was similar to Rasmalai and the icing added the creamy texture for the entire dish.

A sour element or a neutral crunch element could be added to this dessert just to clean the pallet and avoid the over sweetness because after some point, the sweetness overpowers and it gets bit unpleasant.

Pineapple pastry 10/10 (The pineapple in the perfect pastry was incredibly fresh, and the whipped cream was light, making the whole experience delightful.)

Belgium chocolate 8/10 (The dark chocolate in this pastry is of premium quality, and the cream was slightly condensed, adds a rich texture. I particularly enjoy pastries that are easy to scoop and melt in the mouth.)

Kundapura gudbud. 10/10 (The fresh fruits and tutti-frutti were sandwiched between layers of whipped cream and jellies, creating an incredibly delicious delight.)

Rasmalia pastry 7/10 (I appreciate the recipe, but it seems a bit dense for my taste. I prefer whipped and light pastries.)

We were searching for a good bakery to celebrate the New Year, and I found the perfect place. All the items, from the cakes and biscuits to the mousse and macarons, were incredibly fresh. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE In my recent visit to CAKE WALA RT Nagar, I experienced a very disappointing and horrible situation. I ordered an almond cake and a few snacks and the order was ready about to handed over to me . But in the meanwhile they got one online order for the same cake so they gave my ordered cake to the online delivery agent instead of me and then asked me to wait for another 30 mins to get the cake, such a stupid, rubbish behavior which I felt completely non sense.

Never seen such kind of worst behavior in any other shop even a road side street vendor knows very well how to treat a customer but the cake wala RT NAGAR has crossed all the level of rubbish and cheap behavior. Not at all recommend to any customer to go there for own criticism.

It's very mean and cruel. No person should ever face this kind of humiliation from a shop. Very cheap and worst experience. I'll never visit...
