Momo Shop — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Came here after seeing a few YouTube channels recommending this place for the yummy momos. Expected the place to be crowded, but was surprisingly empty. After ordering waited for about 15mins, which was ok. The good thing is that outer cover is prepared fresh. But then, after tasting it, i felt it was completely bland and infact full of MSG/Taste powder. I feel the ready to cook momos you get in super markets taste much better than this. The chicken noodles was yummy, but again a very strong after taste of msg. I could get the aftertaste in the burps till late night. I'm sure it has exceeded any acceptable limits of msg. I had high hopes from momo shop, upon researching and watching couple of YouTube videos I came to know about momo shop. Krupal Amanna also visited the place, thereby decided to visit this place. Issues: There was an unpleasant odour near the counter Momos were not upto the mark they were undercooked We had ordered fried momos but didn’t expect them to serve burnt momos Saltless noodles Chef was using phone when making momos ( I hope he cleanses his phone regularly or else it’s unhygienic) 6.Krupal Amanna certified is a scam! We had a good feeling about this place after reading the reviews, and it did not disappoint. The place is small, but clean and well lit. A friendly man we assumed to be the owner took our order. While we waited for the food we played connect 4. They have a bunch of games to choose from. We got the steamed whole wheat mushroom momo and a pan fried chicken momo. They were both great, but we liked the steamed momo more as we could better savor the fresh dough.
