I am a regular customer at chai point. I have taken many of my friends there. But today (8-12-2022) i had a very sad experience. I took my parents to phoenix mall. It was very crowded we walked around and i decided to take them to chai point as usual. The place was filled with people I ordered chai for us and made them sit in the CAT area since there were no place to even stand in chai point. My parents were so tired i got them tea we were talking and drinking it. Suddenly an employee from the CAT billing area told me that we are not supposed to sit there on weekends! Really! There were hardly any customers. I asked him if i can sit until someone comes because already there were a-lot of free seats. He said no if other customer comes like that then he wont be able to say no. Okay point! But first of all the gentleman decided to shout from the counter even though he was all free and no customeR there he didn’t even showed the respect to come next to us and tell us politely to leave. I am not blaming the employee he was just doing his job(without any empathy). The thing is top managers should make these policies with some clause as the employees can decide if certain people can sit there on weekends if they are old, pregnant women and children. Thing is there are many brands similar to chai point and why brands like these sustain because of the good time we have there or they provide. Now whenever i see chai point only this incident comes to my mind( where my tired patents taking chai and leaving the place with bags and stuff). None of the good times can compensate that, hence i will have to stop going there! Today its just a one person later it...

Read moreOnly one person works at this place and he juggles around with all the orders in hand and taking new orders. It took 15 min to give one tea and we have to wait again for another 10 min for the other one as he got busy taking orders from the rest and serving food orders of others. When a customer orders more than 1 tea, definitely he / she wants to enjoy the company of other friend / family member. Going through this kind of experience spoils the whole point of visiting this place. This is not a road side chai shop. Coming to quality of tea, t definitely deteriorated. Ordered Irani chai and it tasted just like a regular chai. Ordered masala chai and it was like drinking hot masala water. Also for god sake please keep some normal paper cups if you feel your branded cups are costly and can no give one extra cup. Please keep the whole customer experience in mind and not worry...
