I generally hate writing bad reviews but I gave this place two chances.
First time we came they literally forgot putting in our order and when they did they made a mistake. I left assuming it was a weekday so probably they didn’t have enough people.
Today our order was a sandwich and two iced teas. It took them 15 minutes for the sandwich which I understand but they didn’t start working on our drinks till our sandwich arrived and even then it got further delayed because that person was doing billing. We finished our sandwich and ask them for a bill only to get glares from the guy making the drinks. Then they just look at each take another 2 minutes for him to go back to making the drinks. I had to call them and tell them that we need to leave and I am told that they can’t cancel since they started on the drinks. I am like he just started it. At the end I had to tell them to bill me and not bother giving it.
There is a clear service issue at this outlet. Even when there is no crowd they are overwhelmed. Worst is the attitude of the person who was making the drinks. They have good food but this is definitely not the place to...
Read moreHad a great time here at lunch with friends. Excellent fries/wedges platter with a buttery mayo dip. Spinach cheese fingers were delicious and crisp. Chicken wings smothered with a kind of masala..quite good. The orange sesame chicken salad needed work - a zestier dressing definitely, and the carrots and onions should be more finely sliced, and needs more of an orange kick. The risotto was tasty but not really cooked like a risotto..we did polish it off though. Pizza was an excellent example of an Indian style pizza, crisp light base and well roasted. The dulce de leche cake topping was good but needs something more on the inside..a layer of roasted nuts maybe. The tropical entremet was very disappointing - no fruit inside, just a dome of cream and some dry cake. We had good mocktails and cappuccinos as well. The decor is lovely and the service was decent. Will...
Read moreI recently visited Zed the Baker at Forum Mall and had a wonderful dining experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly humble, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. I tried the chicken steak with mashed potato, which was absolutely delicious – tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I also had the BBQ chicken pizza, which was unexpectedly amazing with a unique taste that really stood out. Their pastry collection is quite impressive, and I couldn’t resist trying the tres leches. It was rich, moist, and absolutely divine – easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or just looking to indulge in some quality desserts, this place won’t disappoint. I strongly recommend giving Zed the Baker a visit; they truly go above and beyond to provide a comfortable and memorable...
