Read moreRajdhani’s takeover has left the thali disappointing. The food was bland compared to Rasotsav, which was far better in both variety, taste and freshness.
The service today was rushed and overwhelming — 3–4 waiters pushing multiple items at a time, insisting we eat and take seconds before we could finish what was already on our plates, with some privacy. Midway, we were offered jaljeera or mango lassi without being told they cost extra. Since the thali already includes buttermilk, the drinks were unnecessary, and we couldn’t even finish them — leaving us feeling guilty when we saw them added to the bill. In the end, we felt betrayed.
When questioned, the staff and manager tried to justify it by pointing to the fine print on the menu board outside the restaurant— something no one highlights and most customers never notice.
To make matters worse, the manager didn’t even address us directly and instead asked the staff about it, showing poor customer service.
We also requested a highchair, which was forgotten, and they delayed a kids’ plate unnecessarily. All this happened on a day when the restaurant wasn’t crowded.
It’s not about the money, it’s about ethics. A restaurant of this standard cannot act so cheap to profit off overpriced subpar beverages.
Decent authentic Rajasthani menu, but bland food, rushed service, and unethical upselling left us with a bad experience. Rajdhani has definitely...
Read moreWe had a very disappointing experience here. The board outside clearly says "Unlimited Buffet ₹399" but in very small letters (almost unnoticeable) it mentions "only on Tuesdays". There is no clear communication, and we ended up paying ₹700 per thali, which is nowhere close to being worth that price. To make things worse, they offered us a choice between mango lassi and jaljeera when we sat down, with no mention that these were chargeable extras. The way it was presented made it seem like part of the meal. Only when the bill arrived did we realize we were charged separately for the drinks. This place relies on misleading pricing and lack of transparency to make a quick buck. Definitely not recommended, there are far better places with...
