We have been coming here regularly as it's one of our favorite place wen it comes to chinese.but today was a big disappointment.we ordered our usual and got busy chatting , waiting for the starters to arrive.its only when my wife mentioned that it's been more than half hour since we ordered.i thought maybe coz its weeknd and d place was crowded then usual, a little delay seems normal.aftr we reminded the waiter about our order the second time, only then the soup arrived.Trust me, the taste wasn't up to the mark and it was warm?? I just ignored it ....maybe one of the instances.then the guy gets the Momo...it was just warm... hardly!!. The next on the list was the cold chilly fish....n dats wen I lost it. Wen I called for the manager he was not available.i had to go look for him.the only explanation he gave is that there is shortage of staffs....food was kept on the table but the waiter forgot to serve it......what followed was anther cold Momo...and I literally had to shout to get the cold food off the table.they did get the food hot the next time...but I alrdy lost my appetite.... spoiled my evening. Why m I writting all this?...coz I don't want my fav joint to loose the credibility just bcoz sumbdy didn't do thier job right. Chung wah....hope u...

I visited a year ago and they tried to pass off basa fish as seer. I told the waiter it's basa and he insisted it was seer after it was served. When I challenged him and asked him to call the chef, he went in and came back saying it was "one white fish". Seriously they appear not to know what they are cooking and serving but they insist it's seer.
2nd week of Jan 18 I went and I was served American chop suey with chicken that was very rotten. It stank so bad I found it hard to believe the chef didn't smell it when he cooked and served it. I called the waiter and asked him to smell it but he just took it away. No questions asked. I was handed the bill including the chop suey but that is forgivable as its a communication error from their side. They revised the bill without the chop suey stating 'chicken not fresh'. What's sad is they seemed to know the chicken was not good and still served it.
That evening I came to know about the outbreak...
Read moreA place to avoid if you want authentic Chinese food. I've loved chung wah food before and my visit today was nothing less than disappointing experience as I took my family members saying we get good food and yeah..... food ordered from menu and my comments mentioned below: Sweet corn chicken soup - Good Chicken steamed momo - Average Mala chicken - average taste for me and my family member said a big No No to it Chicken Fried rice - this was the most disappointing item... An authentic chicken Fried Rice color is white and what we received was light brown or black Fried rice which an authentic Chinese chef wouldn't faulter on. The waitress asked me a couple of times what Fried rice I need and I made it pretty clear saying I need a normal Fried rice and I received that light brown/black Fried rice. I hope you know what I mean. Bottom line, chung wah has lost a customer today and I suggest to avoid this place if you want an authentic Chinese...
