A laidback pub which is span across two floors

1st floor being the closed one which is quitter and favorite among families and the 2nd floor aims at utilizing the open roof top space which is designed well with some wall paintings of icons like Jim Hendrix , Joker and some quirky posters.

The lighting is a bit dull but nevertheless this place has got some great vibes if you wanna unwind during a weekday or tap your feet to some groovy numbers played by their inhouse DJ during weekends.

The seating options are pretty good where in one can choose between long bar stools, wooden chairs and sofas for groups.

Drinks (Cocktails) –impressive ones

Old fashioned – my personal favorite in here (was a bit too strong) which is made by muddling sugar, bitters and whiskey served with a twist. I loved it.

But if you are looking a lighter one then try rest of them.

Circus juggler – A balanced concoction of vodka , gin, citrus juice and has both sweet and sourness to it. Somehow it aint impress me reason being the sour taste over powers the spirits in it.

Snow martini – a blend of vodka topped with chocolate liquor, was a bit too sweet for my liking.

Loved the attention to detail and presentation skills of the mixologist in here.

Food – (Perfect bar nibbles and appetizing mains)

Cheese Pavbhaji- Mumbai style pavbhaji loaded with cheese and served along with pav slices tossed in butter, would recommend for sure as it has the rustic touch with goodness of cheese.

Mini Samosa – yet another classic dish wherein they added ajwain that gives a little spicy kick in every bite.

Paneer tikka nuggets – Simple nuggets filled with minced paneer and cheese coated with crushed papad. This dish has naïve ingredients which are cooked to perfection.

Rajma Galouti – The show stopper for the day

A humble twist to classic mutton galouti –

They had used mashed rajma instead of meat along with rustic spices and shallow fried them in desi ghee. This one just melts in your mouth a classic one

Kudos to chef and his team for dishing out such wonderful ones, Will recommend this to one and all.

For mains we just tried -

Mac and cheese vegetarian pizza

A classic take on simple pizza with a twist to it. What if one loads the thin crust pizza with mac and cheese. This is a perfect example of trying out new dishes that turn out well.

Paneer burger – The patty was fresh and made with minced paneer and cheese

Then placed over a bed of iceberg lettuce, onions and tomatoes. Served with French fries. The bun was fresh and enhanced the taste.

Ended our meal with red velvet lava cake to satiate our sweet tooth. This one is a must try if you are ardent fan of red velvet cheese cake.

Service – A bunch of enthusiastic folks, who make sure they are attentive the moment you step in and to suggesting what to pick from their wide array of cocktails and food choices they have in house.

VFM – worry a try

A fabulous place which would be a crowd favorite in HSR in no time.

The prices are not too steep and the drinks are priced reasonably and they have got you covered with loads of offers for corporates, large groups.

Yet another new restaurant opens at the HSR region. Cirkus is pretty big and a nice place to spend some time. It was on a Sunday that I had been to cirkus along with my friends and throughly enjoyed their food. 🌶️🍗🍖🍕🥩🥓🥞🧀🥚🍲🍚🍦🍧🍨🍰🥧🎂🍵🍸🍷🍹🍺🥂🥃🍻

🇦The ambience of the restaurant is pretty good, it is a two storey building. I had my lunch at the second floor which was pretty bright and hot all thanks to the partial covering available at the place. The seatings are pretty good as well. This place is quite wide and suitable for big gathering too.

🇸The service at the restaurant is pretty good. The management crew are aware of whatever they are serving. The bartender was generous to show his skills with the liquor available at his disposal.

🇫What I ate ??? 🍴Lamb chilly ➡️ The lamb chilly was very very spicy. It was minced well into small pieces and mixed well with the masalas and the onions. It was served hot. This is a must try for people who love spicy food.

🍴BBQ wings ➡️ The BBQ wings were thoroughly mixed with lots of sauce. The marination of multiple sauces and other ingredients were just perfect. I liked the BBQ chicken wings.

🍴Dum aloo with zafrani pulao ➡️ I never had any expectation on this main course but this definitely blew my head. The zafrani pulao was prepared with basmati rice. They had ingredients such as the saffron, ghee and cashew nuts too. The dum aloo gravy which was provided along with the pulao was simply awesome. The combination of these two were perfect.

🍴Tiger tight ➡️ I had ordered the tiger tight cocktail. It was a cocktail which was served in a long glass handle filled with various fruits such as the kiwi, pomegranate, apply etc and mixed with the vodka. It was like a mixture of goodness and badness into them. The cocktail was pretty strong.

🍴 Mushroom and feta cheese pizza ➡️ The presentation of it looked marvellous. The balsamic vinegar and a special sauce was spread across the thin crust pizza. It wasn't spicy but tasted unconventional.

🍴Half peri peri Chicken steak ➡️ The grilled chicken was well marinated and the sauce coating spread across the chicken piece was simply superb. It was spicy and delicious.

🍴Penne Alfredo pasta ➡️ The penne Alfredo pasta was a very unique pasta which was served at the restaurant. The bell peppers were ground together instead of sprinkled. This eventually made a white sauce seem to be a red sauce. The pasta did taste good.

🍴Gulab jamun Rabri ➡️ The Gulab jamun Rabri was served in a nice glass which are usually used to serve the cocktails. The Rabri had the right amount of milk and sugar. The only disappointing stuff was the Gulab jamun which could have been better.

All in all cirkus has a restaurant have good food and drinks. The cocktails are pretty interesting. The service needs a little of agility. A little improvements will definitely make sure the restaurant to be one of the best in that region.

Cirkus-One of the new places added to the pub city of Bangalore and located at Namma HSR serves some of the refreshing Cocktails and lip smacking food. This place is here to STAY-Foodies make note!!

Spread on 2 floors,the place has a full fledged bar and they also allow DIY(Do It Yourself) option to whip up a drink of your choice.

The Service is bit tardy at times and a bit of introspection on this aspect can make it a better experience for the patrons.

The Bartender is a asset here and will definitely play a major role in the business and happiness quotient of the patrons.

Some of the Cocktails tried were- Mixologist special (colour balls 2.Bubblegum infused (Bombay gin) 3.Tight tiger (fruit) 4.Tight rope Walker

All the Cocktails were just too perfect in their own league and stole the show.

The Starters tried were Choice 1.Cheese palak kurkure-one of the Innovative dishes from the chef and tasted good 2.Magnificent malai-a other must try and will not be disappointed 3.Makhai moti seekh-Amazingly good on taste and presentation 4.Murg malai pesto tikka- am completely bowled over this dish Peri peri chicken nuggets- the humble starter that can never go wrong 6.Tandoori wings-have tasted better and a bit of improvement on taste could make it better Seek gilafi- best avoid

The Main Course tried were- 1.Sweet corn and salsa pizza-A disappointing dish,sad on taste but high on presentation 2.Dum aloo zaffrani pulao-Too good and filling...Wow 3.Roasted bell pepper Alfredo penne veg-Am just coming back for this mesmerising dish. Heavenly food...Take a bow Chef😛 4.Malabar prawn curry with ghee rice-the best combination when served right and the chef has done justice to the food.

The Desserts tried were

1.Red velvet lava cake 2.Walnut brownies with ice cream 3.Gulab jamun rabri parfait

The Desserts did justice both on taste and presentation.Just apt.

A outing for 2 would cost around Rs 2500/- to Rs 3000/- with a couple of drinks.

As of me,would definitely come back here for their refreshing Cocktails and lip smacking food.
