It's a balmy Saturday evening and after a shopping spree in Jayanagar, you are starving. So, chances are spotting a biryani joint will make you hungrier. It wasn't any different with us. And we step inside Coal Flame. First thing that made us wonder, was the name. I mean what the name means? Does the biryani served over here cooked on coal flame?
First thing first, the ambience, well lit and dotted with colourful graffiti welcomes you with warmth. Wall lamps are enhancing the interior. And also, you don't really find reasons to crib about the service.
We tried their vast variety of delicious starters and veg Donne biryani. Starters were good, bland and dry. Perfect portion of masalas and south-indian touch in taste. I would have appreciated if the waiters cared to explain what they are serving.
Ensure to sit in a direction where you can see the waiters, otherwise in the corners your order may get delayed.
