Geist Brewing Co. Hennur — Restaurant in Bengaluru

This place is fantastic. Everything from the food, to the beer to the staff is just awesome!! Firstly just wanted to make a special mention about our waiter Abishek (hope I spelt it correctly). We dined there around dusk and sat in the outdoor area. Stupidly we didn't apply incect repellent before we came nor did we have any on us. Abishek saw us struggling with the insects and brought us some repellent. Extremely observant and thoughtful person which our whole family really appreciated. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, an Alfredo with chicken, a Chicken Biryani and a couple of beers for the adults and juice for the kids. It was great to find a place with different types of craft beer and also one which carried a favourite of mine - a Belgium style wheat beer. The food was really another highlight for the night. The pizza was truely woodfired. Base was perfectly cooked and pizza had a good amount of toppings but most importantly it tasted great. The Chicken Alfredo was served with a couple of pieces of garlic bread. The whole plate was devoured in a blink of an eye and it was definitely the favourite for the kids. I did manage to try some and I do have to say it was up there with one of the best Alfredos I have ever tasted. For me the Chicken Biryani was definitely the highlight. A good sized portion with 3 decent sized pieces of chicken served with Raita and a Papadom it tasted brilliant. It was perfectly spiced, rice was fluffy and the Raita was the perfect accompaniment. Total bill for our whole family was INR 2284 (NZ$57.13, AU$52.07 US$34.54, GB£27.44) and this included taxes and service charges. We thought this was very reasonable given the great food we received and the fantastic service. I would highly recommend Geist Brewing Co. in Bhartiya City and we will definitely be back next time...

This is one of the worst breweries in Bangalore. We ordered shooters and they legit gave us lemon soda with no alcohol in it at all. We asked the waiter to taste it and tell us if this really has alcohol or not. He was so arrogant that he started blaming us, he started telling us that this is the % of alcohol that we have and do we even know what shooters are. We were totally surprised by his pathetic behaviour. He was the manager we were talking to. Then he brings another manager who is absolutely useless. He mentions to us that there is no point arguing and he will not give us the replacement for the product. We left the place immediately without drinking those two poor quality drinks. Bdw instead of salt, they had put sugar on the glass corner for tequila. Surprised to see who puts sugar on border of glass instead of salt.

Never even expected the brewery to be so bad. On top of that, the internet doesn't work in their area, they have digital menus and you spend 15-20 minutes struggling with that. A poor OTP system where staff comes and tells you OTP. Many problems. We heard from our friends that the food is also really bad and some of our friends had to face stomach issues after having food from this place.

Would never visit this place again and not all recommended to anyone!

⛱️ Ambience: Arguably the best ambience in Bangalore, Geist has a HUGE open space that uhmm..just let's you breathe. With lush greenery and wooden tones all over, you immediately feel at home. They are even super pet-friendly. There is no other place I have been to that makes me so immediately comfortable.

🍲Food: The food is impeccable. Every single dish is crafter to perfection, and the menu is absolutely mouth-watering. Veggies are fresh and crunchy, and meat is succulent and tender.

🤵🏻Service: The service is spot-on with the waiters paying close attention, while willing to customizer the food to your liking. Jyotish Nair and Suchan Gowda are awesome.

🍺 Beer: Man oh man. There is no competition when it come to Geist's epic brews, with Geist serving up some of the best beer I've ever had. James Blone is my favorite.

💵 Cost: Pricing is a tad on the higher side, but if you pre-book on Swiggy Dineout or Zomato Gold, you can get upto 20% off on the bill.

Overall, I absolutely love and adore this place and would highly recommend it for a great place to hang out, celebrate and make some great memories.
