Don't get misled by the fancy look of the building, their interiors and ambience. Their service is the worst I have ever seen anywhere in the world.

If your expectation is just to spend some time in a flashy atmosphere, you can visit this place. But if you expect anything like warm welcoming staff and good service, don't go to this place. I can't comment about food, because I waited for 1 hour and the entire team forgot what I ordered. Event after reminding them, food did not arrive. So, I cancelled my order and left. The only item I had here was a virgin mojito, which was hardly 200ml and nothing special about its taste.

We went to this place on a Tuesday evening. Hardly 4 tables had been occupied. The waiters somehow looked repelled by arriving customers and they were all standing in different corners not bothered about what is happening at their establishment. After persuading them to bring the menu after 15 minutes, we made an order for 4 items which included my virgin mojito and mexican burrito. I believe while walking to the computer to enter the order, the burrito must have jumped out the waiter's mind. Another table next to us was served by a waiter who took the order in his tablet. They got all their items together in an instant. But our order kept coming in different intervals and my burrito could never make it to the table. After waiting for 1 hour I approached a senior staff in their team who told something incomprehensible just for the sake of answering me. At that time also he didn't bother to check if the order was actually entered or not. After losing all the patience I had left, I finally asked the waiter again about my order and then he checked the computer and then went to the kitchen. I recently purchased a 600g strawberry cake from Harley’s Fine Baking in JP Nagar for my daughter’s birthday, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.

Cake Quality & Composition

Despite Harley’s reputation for quality cakes, the strawberry cake we bought was not up to the mark. The most glaring issue was the composition: out of the 600g cake, almost 400–450g was just whipped cream, leaving only about 100–150g of actual cake inside. The cake was overloaded with strawberry-flavored whipped cream, which not only overwhelmed the taste but also made it difficult to actually enjoy the cake itself. The cream itself lacked flavor, and the small amount of cake present was unremarkable. It felt like we were eating mostly cream, with hardly any cake to taste or enjoy.

Packaging Issues

While the outer packaging looked attractive and well-presented, the internal packing was poorly done. The cake was pressed from the top, causing the writing and decorations on the top of the cake to stick to the ceiling of the box. Despite handling the cake carefully during transport, the damage clearly occurred during packing at the bakery. This carelessness affected the cake’s appearance and was disappointing, especially for a birthday celebration.

Overall Impression

Given Harley’s strong reputation (with many positive reviews for their other cakes and desserts), I expected much better. Overloading cakes with whipped cream is not the right way to make a quality cake, and the lack of attention to packaging further detracted from the experience. While the shop excels in presentation from the outside, the product inside did not live up to expectations.

During our visit, we indulged in the Irish coffee and the Belgian dark chocolate medovik with hazelnut coffee combo – both were not only yummy but also successfully quenched our cravings. 😄 While I wished the coffee was served hotter, I understand the necessity to preserve its distinct taste within certain temperature limits.
