Taiki has been around as a brand for some time now, and their JP Nagar branch solidfies their reputation as a good destination for asian/korean/Japanese fusion food. Located on the main road Bangalore opposite Jamming Goat/Indian Bierre Street, parking is available in front of this place. Ambience: A very Asian setting and the best part being these semi-private cubicles, with a Japanese theme. Food: We tried the following Sushi Rolls: The backbone of any decent Korean/Japanese fusion restaurant, they had a large variety. We tried the rainbow roll, salmon futomaki and dynamite roll and we found it to be pretty good. They were well rolled, ingredients were fresh and not overly done with the sauce Dak KKochi : The Korean version of the Yakitori, these were grilled chicken and scallion pieces marinated and basted with gochujang. These were delicious. Walnut Shrimp: A variation of the popular Indo Chinese dynamite shrimp, this was fried shrimp tossed in a sweet, spicy sauce and definitely a crown fav. and the candied walnuts added crunch. Tteok Bokki: This Korean fav. was the highlight of our meal here for sure. The rice and fish cakes were tossed in a super-funky gochujang sauce and it needs to be eaten to be believed. Highly recommended!
We also had several other items including a seafood miso ramen, seafood and chilli oil gyoza which were pretty good too. They also have several boba and tea options.
Overall, great food, excellent ambiance and decent pricing makes this a great Asian fusion destination.....

Taiki is a newly-opened restaurant which stands quietly on the otherwise, one of the most bustling mainroads of JP Nagar 5th Phase. Unlike the rest of the loud and flashy cafes, pubs, and restaurants on the same street, Taiki radiates an aura of class and quiet luxury. Given the choice of dishes the restaurant specialises in, we were waiting for the right moment to visit it on a chilly winter night to slurp on the hot spicy ramen and stuff our mouth with other delectable items on the menu.
Tonight, fortunately was the time. My bf and I were craving some hot ramen bowl to satiate our typical wintery night cravings. We started with Japanese hot latte's - Hojicha latte and Matcha latte. For main course, we had ordered Spicy Miso Ramen (K-Style) and Chahan (Japanese-style Fried Rice). Since we were having a bit of cold, we skipped trying the desserts. All the items were delicious.
One suggestion: It will be great if you guys can introduce hot bubble / boba milk tea in the menu, or serve the same on the diner's request.
Overall, it was a lovely dinner experience at Taiki. The restaurant is decorated tastefully with chic and stylish upholstery that complements the overall aesthetic of the place. The quiet yet lively ambience is something we really enjoyed. Each staff's courteousness and attention to detail added to our wonderful experience.
A special shoutout to Ms Abong, who attended our table tonight and took meticulous care of our dining needs.

Read moreI recently dined at Taiki, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The restaurant exudes a cozy, modern charm with a focus on authentic Asian flavors, and the food reflects that beautifully.
The Donburi bowl was the star — fluffy scrambled eggs, tender chicken, fresh edamame, and just the right amount of seasoning, all coming together in a comforting, umami-packed dish. It was hearty yet well-balanced, and the garnish added both freshness and visual appeal.
The stir-fried noodles were another highlight. Perfectly cooked, with a smoky touch and tossed with crunchy vegetables and crispy garlic chips, it had the depth and punch of flavors that keep you going back for more.
The sushi rolls were fresh, neatly rolled, and beautifully plated. The mix of crisp vegetables with creamy filling and well-seasoned rice was a treat — clean flavors done right.
What I loved most was the consistency — nothing felt greasy or overpowering. Every dish carried a balance of taste, texture, and presentation, showing the team’s commitment to quality.
Overall, Taiki is an excellent destination for Asian food lovers in Bangalore. The menu feels both authentic and approachable, making it a place I’d...
