So it was HIGH I decided to brunch myself this Sunday and was that the right decision? Well, let me pin everything down in this review bit by bit.
High is a different experience altogether if you are planning to feast yourself royally. Placed on the 31st floor of the World Trade Center building opposite to Sheraton Grand, it is a paradise out there with a gorgeous view of Bangalore. High specializes in Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Korean cuisines and totally lives it to the expectation. We went for the Sunday Brunch and it was definitely a good decision.
Ambience Review: You enter High following the escalators and get an amazing ambience with a Chandler high above, the path to the rooftop dining has dim lights but illuminates as you reach the entrance. The main hall is decorated with the royal buffet mostly the Sushi’s; the Tuna’s, the Thai salads etc. and eventually you reach the much awaited scintillating rooftop with a mind-boggling view. The view gets rhythmically awesome when with a blissful on the house unlimited cocktails and some lip-smacking food.
Food Review: So it started with the Cilantro Chicken perfectly blended with veggies, red chillies and cilantro. The chicken was juicy and makes a perfect blend with the sauces and veggies; it gets an A from my side. Vietnamese style spicy fish: Again, an A-rated grilled fish served with spicy curry sauce just to tingle your taste buds. This again gives the top-notch taste of the Vietnamese cuisine. The spiced cottage cheese is a treat to the veggie audience it is perfectly minced with Bok Choy and the secret chef signature sauces.
One of the most amazing starters to try were Prawns Tart, Grilled Tuna, Egg Cake, Prawns Fritters, Sweet Chilly Beef Salad, Veg and Fish Sushi, Spicy seafood salad, Grilled Chicken Salad, Chicken Satay
There are on-the-house steamers as well the Chicken Gyoza. These tender dumplings are filled with Pan-fried crispy chicken and are definitely necessary try for a dumpling lover. It is definitely steamy and tender The signature dish was the Pork Belly; the tender and juicy pork with crisp crackling skin grilled in soy and served with spicy kimchee and barbeque sauce. It is amazingly irresistible and makes you full from all sides. Do not wait to ask for it.
Well once you have filled your gluttony, make sure you head for the mains as well. It is the mix of Indian and Thai food. Started off with Spicy Udon noodles, oyster sauce fish fry, stir-fry vegetable curry. The Dal Makhani, Methi chicken, Chicken Biryani, Crispy Shrimps with oyster sauce. A perfect blend of Indian and Asian fusion to blend those spices together for an extravaganza food fusion. In the end, the cravings are filled with some unbelievable and unmatched desserts. The Kiwi Pie, Almond cake, chocolate mud cake, Banoffee pie just makes your brunch a heavenly treat. It’s the perfect date that you could ever experience.
Final Verdict: HIGH Spirits is a great place for all the food pandas out there where the quality meets quantity. Their Al-la-carte is vivid but the Brunch is even phenomenal. Meat is their speciality and Fish is the ruling dish. All an all a great place to have an amazing wine and dine experience.
P.S: Make sure you catch those corner seats to light up some fascinating view from the 31st floor.
My Ratings: Food: 5/5 Quality: 5/5 Quantity: 5/5 Service:...

Read moreA Perfect Spot for Rooftop Lovers Like Me! High Ultra Lounge had been catching my eye for a while, and I finally got to experience it on a Thursday night. We booked a table via Zomato and got 50% off on the bill such a great deal!
We came from HSR, about an hour’s drive, and reached around 9 PM. The weather was windy and cold, but thankfully it wasn’t too crowded. We got a table with a stunning view absolutely magical!
There are three sections: two open-air and one indoor with a bar and DJ. We tried the pizza and another dish were really good. The staff were a bit busy and it took around 15–20 minutes for the food to arrive, but they were extremely friendly and super helpful especially when it came to taking photos! They patiently helped us capture some amazing shots, which made the experience even more memorable.
Now, let’s talk about the view, it’s mind-blowing. The whole city lights up beneath you, and if you love heights like I do, this place feels like a dream. Even the transparent elevator ride up is exciting you can see the city rise below you as you go higher.
A few tips: • They’re open till 1 AM, but food orders close around 12 midnight. • There’s free parking right opposite the World Trade Center building. You’ll need to walk a few meters, but the path has a fountain and a nice vibe a lovely little walk before you enter.
If you love high places, night lights, rooftop vibes, and taking lots of photos — High Ultra Lounge is a must-visit. Can’t wait...
