TERRIBLE is the word – quality, quantity, and service. We ordered food for a get-together recently. Here is our experience: • Food was served cold. • Mutton biryani did not have mutton pieces. • Chicken chaap was a weird gravy, nothing like chaap. • Vegetable chop and roshogolla were stale. To top it all, their service was unparalleled. The owners were outright rude. According to them, they judge if a customer should be paying full or half plate for a child after they see the child. Please keep the birth certificates handy if you have children. When they ran out of mutton, here is what we were told: • Children ate like adults, and • We had more guests than we had ordered for – both blatant lies. The icing on the cake was when many of us wrote candid reviews, the owners got agitated and gave delightful replies, they blamed everything on us and called us cheats! This is truly commendable customer service! Thank you for your services and we will NEVER order from your esteemed catering...

Being a Bengali leaving away from home we do sometimes crave for great bengali home food so we look upto these bengali restaurants. I order hmk special chicken biryani for dinner and i have to told them specifically please provide aloo and egg as it serves the main role in kolkata r bengali biriyani, i have mentioned specifically because i have been ripped off in the name of kolkata biriyani by other bengali restaurants. But todays lets talk about HMK as i ordered biriyani they dont even send me the chicken gravy or salan or whateva u say in your tongue so i had to eat it all dry chicken pieces were nt frest they were dried af . Totally not worth it these r scammers . Your opening specially bengali restaurant and your main cuisine doesn't worth our money . Thank a lot more biriyani without gravy u guys r changing the face of bengali food...

We used to take foods almost in every week from this restaurant through zomato or through delivery partners. This is the first time we went there to take our food. After reaching there, we wont be able to place any order from this unhygienic restaurant. The whole place is stinky. No proper hygiene, dirty and unhealthy atmosphere. Shocked to see that they never clean the area tables. Food inspection should be held immediately then only this kind of pathetic business related to food will be closed. Does the owner visit her restaurant and inspect it correctly before serving this type of food to others? Anyone who will visit just one time to the restaurant, they wont order anything from this restaurant after seeing the place. That is the truth.
